![[Terminator. Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.] This custom started out very simple and became more and more complicated...
The base body is that of a Sideshow "T2" Arnold Terminator. The clothes are from the Hot Toys T-800. The shirt, however, is from a 1997 Terminator from "T2: 3D." The Spas 12 gauge shotgun is from the Hot Toys Terminator, and the AR-180 assault rifle is custom made from two differnt M-16s. The sunglasses are Hot Toys, cut to fit into the head. The head, of course, is what everyone uses, a Frontline Hero head. It took a while to get the skin tone right. I'm very pleased with it. There were originally going to be two heads and they were to be interchangable, but that proved more than a challenge for my brother and I. So, after much reluctance, a decided to glue the "exposed robotic eye" head onto the neck peg. I did include a pic of the second head, though.](userimages/customs/3500/3218-1.jpg) Terminator. If you've seen "From Russia with Love" it'd be pretty hard to forget Bond's adversary "Red" Grant. As some of you may remember, Grant was a convicted serial murder, an escaped convict, and recruited by the criminal organization "SPECTOR." But he was still no match for James Bond!
This figure is based on a Dragon Oberst Hessler. One difficult figure to find. The figure's likeness is exactly that of Robert Shaw. The suit is from a website and was originally intended to be for a Clark Kent figure of mine, which failed. It was tailored by my brother Ben. The shoes and socks are from a Sideshow Bond. The Walther PPK (not shown in these pictures) is from the original Hessler figure. The tie is from an Agent Smith suit. The watch is from a Legacy Bond. It was painted and a removable garrotte wire was attached.](userimages/customs/3500/3217-1.jpg) Donald "Red" Grant James Bondby Mr. FusionHere is a really fun custom that I helped my brother make. ![[Sean Connery in "From Russia with Love''] This figure is based on the Sideshow Legacy Sean Connery Bond released earlier this year. The suit jacket and pants are from the Pierce Brosnan Legacy Bond. The shoulder holster was made from real shami cloth. The Walther PPK is Dragon. The shirt is from Old Joe Infirmary. The tie is from an Agent Smith suit. And the silencer was measured and cut from some sort of plastic stirrer. We actually don't know what it is or where it came from.
We got the suitcase from a website. It was brown and painted black. The folding AR-7 rifle was a cheap 1/6 scale machine gun for the firing mechanism, sawed, shaved down. The stock was from an M1 Grand. The scope was from two M16 barrels glued together with a wire mount. The barrel was a stick for fish roast from a camping set, no idea what brand. Everthing else is epoxy, including the top of the firing mechanism.](userimages/customs/3500/3183-1.jpg) Sean Connery in "From Russia with Love'' James Bondby Mr. FusionThis figure is based on the Sideshow Legacy Sean Connery Bond released earlier this year. ![[Kyle Reese] This is Kyle Reese, Sergeant Tech-Com DN 38416 (the 1984 version). The figure is a Sideshow Endor soldier from "Return of the Jedi." The hands are from a Sideshow "T2" Arnold figure. The head is a custom painted recast of the Hot Toys Reese. The trenchcoat and shotgun are both 21st Century Toys, both modified. The shoes are from a website (painted black with imitation velcro straps). The rope is just a small string. The base figure is a BBI Generation 3 body, with multiple sets of hands: pistol grip right with relaxed left, a pair of custom gloves, and a pair of custom "whip" hands. This is a very complicated figure compiled over the years. His accessories are a whip, Smith & Wesson .38, Browning Hi-Power, and
The head and hat are from Frontline Hero Heads, sculpted by Jim Maddox (painted by me). The jacket is an extremely overhauled Tuskegee bomber jacket. The shirt is a custom tailored Patton dress shirt. The pants belt is from Toy Soldier Brigade. I'm not sure what company made it. The gun belt was made from a strip of brown leather, a paperclip, and small piece from an aluminum can. The holser was hand sewn by Ben, using a faux leather/vinyl material. It was later tanned with a Sharpie and smeared. The bag was and sewn with a vinyl strap and plastic buckle painted silver.
