I only get stoked when asked to make a custom that I have pretty much free liberty and reign and artistic freedom with input and suggestions from the customer, not a backseat customizer, if you will. This bro' is one that makes customizing enjoyable. He told he wanted a Colossus that could kick all my other Colossus' a$$...so, I tried to oblige. More steel showing the better I say and with the addition of some wicked boots(his idea on those) here we have a custom Colossus that hasn't been seen before.

![[The Incredible Hulk] I made this custom Hulk statue for a FB friend in England who at first wanted a Hot Toys-like Hulk to go with his collection. After starting the project I convinced him into turning this thing into a better suited statue of the Hulk.
Recipe:
Upper body was Pitt baf arms and upper chest. Head, lower abdomen and legs were the old Toybiz kick and punch Hulk(don't remember the exact name)
The fists were from a Toybiz movie rotocast Hulk
I had to extend the arms at the biceps and the wrists using dowel rods. I resculpted the hair and most of the face and sculpted over the entire body except the fists and from the knees down. I think I went overboard on the back muscles a bit putting muscles upon muscles(but oh well, he's the Hulk, hopefully nobody will notice..haha!) I made the base out sculpt and some glue and sand.

So, who better to represent the WAY OF THE BLADE than ARES, GOD OF WAR?? I hope you enjoy my take on Ares(I borrowed some elements from the 2008 comic cover and added some of my own), I also have plans for other mighty gods that will soon join him on a grand stage that will shake the foundations of the heavens and the Earth and will cause mankind to tremble before their might!
A little history of Ares...
ARES was the great Olympian god of war, son of Zeus and Hera, battlelust, civil order and manly courage. In Greek art he was depicted as either a mature, bearded warrior dressed in battle arms, or a nude beardless youth with helm and spear. Because of his lack of distinctive attributes he is often difficult to identify in classical art.
Some of the more famous myths featuring the god include:--

It almost looks too clean to be something I painted but I didn't want to ruin it getting too "artsy" with it, so I kept it simple. Ursus is a mutant with the power to transform himself into a brown bear.
