![[Silver Mullet] Rock 'N' Roll. I'm known as the Silver Mullet, but you can call me Silver. I'm a superhero. Actually, I'm a RLSH. I'm a physical manifestation, or representation, of the imagination's ideals of the human being's maximum abilities, illustrated in my instance as a superhero. In other words, I'm an idea about people that came to life. I have a backstory and a future that relies on that history. I have superpowers. To learn more about me visit me on MySpace, just search for the Silver Mullet. This is my custom figure. Let me explain, the Marvel Legends Face-off Captain America's body was a slightly retooled Ultimate Captan America. Good idea, but there was something just not completely right with that CA. His detail was not as well flushed out and his head was lacking. The figure looked dead and with out energy. Captain America's energy is proud, proven, and almost royal. Face-off Cap didn't have it, Ultimate Cap did which I find odd because it's the same body. Maybe it's the head? The big chin and the penetrating eyes, not to mention a raised A on his forehead. I realize that I left the sholder stars, but they give the character something that makes it pop. I like the simple switches that were made, he looks more intense and in the moment. It's the little things that make a figure really special.](userimages/customs/3000/2593-1.jpg) Captain America Marvel Legendsby mr_gumbiI loved the idea of using a perfect Captain America body to create a perfect Captain America. ![[Red Skull] Raymond658, Boskoes, and Greg8624 did a Red Skull like this one. Each of them made little modifications. Raymond658 put a jacket bottom on him, Boskoes put him in a long coat and mixed the major body with other parts, Greg8624's design was simple and clean. I haven't built on their work, just used their combined blue-prints. I left the boot guards because they look real cool and I want them in my collection. I used the Punisher holster and gun for the sidearm. Easy custom, just a little alterations and paint and you have a very imposing Red Skull. Thanks to those who custom before me. I love the classic villain pose that you get with this custom.](userimages/customs/3000/2592-1.jpg) Red Skull Marvel Legendsby mr_gumbiRaymond658, Boskoes, and Greg8624 did a Red Skull like this one. I've been working on it for long time now. It is comprised of my favorite mutants from the team’s history and whatever figure Toy Biz/Hasbro has made that might fit the look of the team (Marvel Legends style). I call this a custom collection because of the “one of a kind” figures you find in the group. I've scrimped up enough money and paid enough attention to find the figures I needed. You'll find the work of artists like Jin Saotome (wolverine), Darth Leon (polaris), and K&L Customs (warpath and dazzler). Other customs are Jubilee, Jean Grey, Banshee, and Psylocke's Psychic Knife is custom. All of which were purchased from E-Bay. The only custom that is my own is Forge. I do not take credit for creating these figures, just for collecting them. If you see your own work, than leave a comment and claim it! I've divided them into the Blue and Gold Teams from the 90's, and then the rest. ![[Magneto] The original idea, as far as I can tell, came from Jin Saotome. His is very detailed. It has a lot of molding and air brushing and razzle-dazzle. Then Kyle Robinson, a great custom artist who currently holds to ranking on this site, came up with the easier way of accomplishing this Magneto. Use the parts from the early Marvel Legends figure that aren't Iron Man. I did some molding on the classic neck thingy. My first attempt at molding.](userimages/customs/3000/2586-1.jpg) Magneto Marvel Legendsby mr_gumbiThe original idea, as far as I can tell, came from Jin Saotome. His is very detailed.
