![[Gambit] Well here's the custom I did for the Secret Customizer Swap thingie now that we've all been revealed. :)
I started with a Gambit figure (I know, cheating a little) and dremmeled down his face to get rid of the cheek mask parts. I sculpted his collar and the pouch/strap on his leg from apoxie and put a jacket from a Sting figure on him. Hand painted the whole thing (even gave him those cool red on black eyes that he has, though it's hard to tell in the photos. Sorry if they're a bit blurry) and viola! Everyone's favorite womanizing ninja cajun. ;)
I sure hope he's going to a good home! (Just kidding. I know he is. :D)](userimages/customs/7500/7427-1.jpg) Gambit X-Menby PunstarrWell here's the custom I did for the Secret Customizer Swap thingie now that we've all been revealed. :)

He's my favorite character from that series. I started with a HML Cyclops and a random anime head. I sculpted the hair, bandanna, shirt and pants, then hand painted the figure, including the face. The icing on the cake was the yellow string I glued to the pant legs for Ryoga's signature leggings. The umbrella is an old red cocktail umbrella. ![[City of Heroes Hero] I did this piece for a friend who wanted a custom done of her boyfriend's character. I've included reference pictures of the in game hero.
I took a ML Cyclops and a ML Punisher... decapitated them both at the neck, glued Frank's head and neck to Cyclops' body (I had to cut off Cyke's neck and dremmel it down) and painstakingly dremmeled off the thick boot flaps on Cyclops' legs. I sculpted the eyepatch, the mustache, the chest armor, the designs on the shoulders and legs, the boots, the cape clasp and the gloves with apoxie sculpt. The cape is from a ML Scarlet Witch. Hand painted it all and here we go. Hope you enjoy it.](userimages/customs/6500/6291-1.jpg) City of Heroes Hero City of Heroesby PunstarrI did this piece for a friend who wanted a custom done of her boyfriend's character. Needless to say, he was an amazing man whose life could have easily been a movie. He started dirt poor and built his fortune for the sake of his family through hard work and business savvy. The type of American dream that really can't happen very often anymore. Anyway, I started with a Cable head and an unknown body (Professor X maybe? Lex Luthor?). I decided to base the figure off a picture of my grandpa where he's wearing a tuxedo. I did away with the tie and added a shirt and bowtie with apoxie, sanded away his square jaw and scowling mouth and added rounder cheeks and a smile with apoxie (let me tell you... mouths are really hard to do. I'm very unsatisfied with my work on it, but I don't feel I can improve it anymore. Such tiny work!). I cut off the top of his head and added a bald head, then added a receding hairline, all with apoxie. ![[Ms Marvel] Here we have the incomparable Ms Marvel... made from a ML Psylocke, I removed the belt and sculpted a sash, breasts, hair, her mask and the edges of her boots, gloves and costume from apoxie sculpt. I used part of Psylocke's to make the part of Ms Marvel's sash that hangs down. Hand painted the figure with Vallejo Game Color paints and viola! One of Marvel's premier blonde bombshells.
Note: Her chest symbol looks straight from a full front angle. Any other angle it looks awry. ![[Slapstick] So here we have from the pages of the Avengers: Initiative, Slapstick! With the powers of a cartoon character, he can survive any attack and can summon things like mallets and whatnot out of nowhere. He believes in fighting evil by playing cruel tricks on them.

Basically I started with an X23, sculpted hair, calves, boots, gloves, sleeves, a shirt, a belt and her shorts from Apoxie. Her jacket is from an X-Men Gambit, trimmed and sewn to fit, with Apoxie sculpted in on the back to fill in the gaps by the arms. The shades were made from a pair of glasses given to me by Pendragon, and I sculpted Apoxy onto them to give Jubes her signature shades. Hand painted every last detail and viola! ![[Nene Romanova: Cute member of the Knight Sabers] The recipe for this figure is very simple... I removed the hair and cape from a ML Scarlet Witch. Absolutely everything else is sculpted from Apoxie.
History: Nene is a member of the Knight Sabers, acting as a technical conductor and hacker, and is also an employee of the AD Police, functioning as the Knight Saber's mole in the ADP world. In both versions she is short, petite, and characterized as the least physically durable of the four Knight Sabers. Her hair is different in both versions, but she retains eyes that are predominantly green which change from regular green to blue green infrequently.
Her pink hard suit's offensive weapon is a weak laser gun, which is unsuited for taking out enemies; instead it is used to 'scribble' the Knight Sabers' signature onto their scene of actions. She relies mostly on her suit's computer and electronic warfare systems - and her feet - to stay away from an enemy. In Bubblegum Crash, her suit's offensive capabilities were stocked up considerabl](userimages/customs/4500/4099-1.jpg) Nene Romanova: Cute member of the Knight Sabers Originalby PunstarrThe recipe for this figure is very simple... It was a female figure I got in a lot on a website.
First I removed her head and took off all the armor accessories.
The front part of her hair was removable, so I took it off, sculpted a headband underneath, painted the head (including handpainting the face, eyes included), and then painted the front hair piece and glued it back on.
Next I dremeled her top down and opened up her cleavage. I sculpted her boot flaps where her knees are and sculpted her jacket sleeves. I painted the body and took a long coat from Revolver Ocelot and cut it to make Rogue's jacket, which was then slipped onto the body. The figure was rounded out with a belt made from Longshot's satchel. Bada bing! ![[Captain America] This was a really fun figure to make. I cut Supe's cape off, then followed up with a snip snip of the little front curl on the head. The flared gloves, boot flaps, mask, heaed wings and a few other bits are sculpted via Sculpey. The scale mail was painstakingly glued on paper punched out with a 1/8" hole puncher. Thanks goes out to fastfreddie for the tip on how to make the scalemail. :)
The shield was a 99 cent convex mirror I got at Wal-Mart, which I hand painted. Thanks goes out to Kyle Robinson who suggested the possibility of the mirror for a Cap Shield. :-)
I cut two long strips from a MGS Revolver Ocelot's longcoat to make the straps for the back of the shield. I bought a button/snap set from Micheal's and superglued a piece of the snaps to each end of each "leather" strap and then superglued the other half of each snap to the back of the shield, so the shield can be easily removed.](userimages/customs/4000/3862-1.jpg) Captain America Avengersby PunstarrThis was a really fun figure to make. ![[Streak] This is a character that began as a Heroes Unlimited/RIFTS character when I was but 16, and became a running character who I made for just about every game under the sun, even if only just for fun. Most recently, he was a character in City of Heroes. Below is his interesting history.
His face, hair, boots and gloves are sculpted with air dry clay. His belt is actually two rubber bands. Note: Streak's hair is metallic silver (chrome) and his eyes are pupil less, glowing a soft blue.
History: Kevin Tyler was born in Seattle, Washington on the planet Earth in a dimension quite similar to Marvel Earth, and yet quite different as well. His world was home to it's own superheroes, albeit different than the ones you, true believer may be familiar with. Kevin's birth year was 1974, and he grew up one of 3 brothers in the culturally rich district of Ballard, his family of a heavy Scandinavian descent... his parents weren't rich, but not in abject poverty either.
