Made in the 12" scale, the Action Man figure was perfect for base - not too muscular and plenty of articulation in the arms and torso. Replaced the boots from a Hasbro Daredevil, crafted the helmet from clamshell plastic, painted rust color. His apron was made from painter's canvas, soaked in red acrylic with blood splatter effects. The apron is glued just in the upper torso area and below the knees. This helps to keep the apron looking tight on the figure while also maintaining figure articulation.
