The first step was to sculpture the head using Ave's Apoxie Sculpt. It was a tough process, but after a week's worth of sculpturing, I was able to incorporate the Skrull look with Iron Man. Mission accomplished. As for his helmet, I purchased another twelve inch Iron Man that came with the detachable helmet, modified it in-order for the mask to be detachable. By the way his helmet is removable.
This figure originally came with different set of LED's which needed to be replace in order to stay with the Stealth mode theme. Before painting this figure I opened up the figure, dug trough the electrical system, then replaced the two yellow LED's located on his chest, left palm with these neat red LED's. I also soldered on a small capacitor to prevent the LED's from going out... This also helps the flow of the current flow smooth. He is sound activated, press the button on his chest and he will say cool phrases like; " I am Iron Man&qu](userimages/customs/13000/12850-1.jpg) Stealth Iron Skrull Iron Manby Chris-MoradaSomewhat inspired "The Secret Invasion".

![[Iron Man Mark II] Originally Iron Man here came with different set of LED's, unfortunately they needed to be replaced because it did not go with the Mark II look. So I opened up Iron Man, dug in his electrical system and replace these ugly dull yellowish LED's into these amazing 5mm super bright hyper white LED's.
I had to use different layers of paint and polish to achieve Iron Man's realistic shiny metal look, aside from making him look metalic, I decided to also highlight certain areas and parts of his armor by airbrushing different shades of metal paint colors.
Minor sculpturing was done on his head and also filled in the screw holes.
His helmet can be removed and also the face mask is detachable.](userimages/customs/12500/12282-1.jpg) Iron Man Mark II Iron Manby Chris-MoradaOriginally Iron Man here came with different set of LED's, unfortunately they needed to be replaced because it did not go with the Mark II look. After reading the informations on Iron Lantern 5700 I said to my self, "Hmmmn? I should custom a Modern Iron Lantern"! (more of proto type like). This Iron Man isn't just a statue, you can pose him in different ways, comes with cool sound and light up features.
For this custom figure I used Repulsor Iron Man Mark III 12" action figure as the base figure. The first thing that I did was crack this baby open, then carefully replaced the not so bright orange chest LED and replaced it with a green 5mm 16000MCD LED. Once the chest LED was replaced I then replaced left arm's LED. Since the right arm did not have an LED I also wired it up with an LED. Wait I'm still not done with the LED. I wired up two more LED's so that his eyes can glow. ![[Stealth Armor Iron Man] As part of my Iron Man custom series project I promised my fans that I would include this figure. If you've played the recent IRON MAN movie video game, you will see Tony Stark transform into his stealth mode or you can say stealth amor mode. So for this custom figure I used the Iron Man Mark III 6" action figure as the base figure.
The first thing that I did was crack open this figure and carefully installed one 5mm 16000MCD Red LED inside, one for the chest By the way these LED's that I use are intensly bright, I love it! I also aded a nice little On and Off switch on his back. After installing an O&F switch, I installed an internal battery holder that would hold 3x 364 button cell battery to operate the LED properly. You can easily access the battery by removing the battery cover located on his back.
Another thing I want to point out is his helmet and head. ![[Iron Spidey] Spidey’s got a new lease on life, new powers, and a new costume, courtesy of his new best friend Tony Stark.
I picked up an Animated Spider-Man action figure (Spider Armor) and used it as the base figure. To keep things original the rest of the parts used also came from another Spider-man action figure (Spinning Kick Attack spider action figure). With this figure I carefully removed parts such as lower arms/hands, legs/feet and last his head. Once all the parts were attached together I used little bit of apoxie sculpt to smooth things out. As usual I use Testors Model Master Acrylic paint due to it's body's soft plastic parts.
To top things off I installed a nice little 5mm 16000MCD LED (intensely bright) along with a switch, also I managed to customize an internal battery holder along with battery cover. Origially I wanted to use Dark Night Movie Master Joker (Heath ledger Figure) but I could not find one (even after going to cetain stores at 8:00 a.m.). so I After searching local stores here in the Bay Area a Joker figure finally showed up, but there was a problem, it was not the one I originally had in mind. Instead I decided to use Destructo-Case The Joker figure with his odd weapon prank suit case.
Let's proceed with the recipe here. Base figure is of course the Destructo-Case The Joker and gave him better neck movement by sacrificing Superman's ball joint neck. Next I stole Dr. Doom's long green coat and made few altterations to it. The shoes were aslo taken from Dr. Doom. Before I forget the hands were also taken from Superman. His gun was take from a U.S.M.C action figure that I found a local Walgreen drug store that carried toys (all Walgreens nowdays do!). Ahh yes the nice little chain!
