When a friend asked me to do this challenge, I ended up sweeping the project. The prototype head sculpt I had started without even having chosen the base to be used. Used a World Peacemaker I was here and I was working on the head. The base used was a Frost Giant movie. After dismantling had to take out all the details ... bracelets, anklets, necklaces and lines that figure had. Sanding with fine sandpaper and replenishing muscle groups.
I used rubber for shoulders so that she became flexible allowing the figure raising his arms smoothly. From there it was planning the execution of interchangeable arms. In total there were 6 pairs with different combinations of powers of the Fantastic Four. So I started making sculptures of arms. After every pair made, and copy modeled silicone resin. To the flames I used flexible silicone. The feet were fully redesigned epoxy.
From there it was the beginning of the paint job. The head which gave more work was m](userimages/customs/49000/48999-1.jpg) Super Skrull Marvel Universeby LobãoLOB-00039-E1/18:00001-MVQ00007-032013

The coolest part was collecting scrap and stubble and to make bionic parts ... Fire Extinguisher seal, seal tag garment, silicone wire and other junk were used to make the casings bionic. The toy tank was found almost by accident in a popular shop ...
The head was slightly redesigned with the removal of the hair, sculpting the shape of the skull and slight reshaping of the nose. Mohawk made ??of epoxy. The glasses were made ??of plastic blister. By setting the shoulder was not possible to shoulder tattoo, which really gave me a lot of frustration. ![[Skullbuster] To I make this custom, the funniest was joint some junk to make bionic parts. I really must admit it is quite fun and rewarding when pieces connect really right. So, right arm was made using some cheap guns and terminator Salvation T-700's weapons. Coupled with a balljoint from Koto as a elbow and a Shoulder shield from an IM Mark III. For the legs I used the legs and forearms of a cheap figure from Mars Alien series.
The mask was made using epoxy, painted with high bright red vinyl bright and high gloss varnish to simulate the polishing like a metal part. It was pretty cool contrasting with the matte black of the skull.
But, what was really hard to do was the articulation for left shoulder shield, to allow free articulation of the left arm. I Used a rubber strip and screwed on figure and the piece. I chose to leave showing the screw heads. I thought matched to the character.

The buttons on the clothes were made in epoxy. Lest they would fall, I made small holes in the rubber cross with epoxy and made like a rivet. They were firm and are holding on the drive stride despite leaving the rubber less flexible.

And best of all (and of all time) is Dungeons and Dragons. So, finally, I finish one. In fact, this is the precursor for a wave, because, now, I have already decided that I will do the entire main cast.
My first chosen could not be different … Eric, the cavalier. Undoubtedly, he was the protagonist of that series. Although, I just realized it, years later, at my adolescence / adulthood. To make this character I decided to use almost all techniques I have learned and developed over the years. From modeling face, to using alternative materials, or rubber paper and adhesives for the shield. By the way, that was very cool with metallic luster. I made two others. The challenge of this custom was to make the same piece several times, something I really hate and never had the patience to do repeated figures. But the character asks for more than one copy. Another issue was improving the development of coats and jackets using rubber paper. So more flexible than the factory made.

I got a Deacon Frost's AF from ToyBiz, made in 1997 and I hated it. Too thin and without nice articulations points. So...I made my version :). The most difficult part was made small teeth in his mouth. But in the end...looks like him. I hope you enjoy. Please, I want know your opinions and suggestions for improvement. Thank you. ![[Lady Deathstrike] Some time ago, Nuffsaid showed us his version of Lady Deathstrike (custom #1514). I loved it. Basically, I repeat the recipe, with some changes, and got one of the best custom that I did until now.
It is a 6" scale "superposeable" figure intended to fit into the X2 movie figure line, and has 35 points of articulation.
As with previous works, this is meant to be as faithful as possible to the source material (down to the number of rivets in her pants). It's not visible in the images, but three types of black paint were used for the figure: matte black for the pleated corset, semi-gloss for the pants, and gloss black for the boots and the stripes running across the shoulders and the sleeves.
I screwed all the details of clothing Invisible Woman and applied epoxy to make pants and allow the model correctly. Also I did legs in epoxy. This time I picked the Kingpin, Daredevil's movie version 2003, interpreted by Mr. Michael Clarke Duncan. The great challenge of this custom was modeling the head and features the actor. I used X-23's head , because it was the only piece of this AF that had not been used for custom. Now, I used 100%. Particularly, I loved final result of sculpture and painting, especially the eyes. The body was covered with epoxy applied in to make it more bulky. I hope you enjoy. Please, I want know your opinions and suggestions for improvement. Thank you. Sorry my english.
