![[Megatron Animated] Customized Megatron from "The Battle Begins" set was sprayed with chrome paint and detailed with Testors Model Master Stop Light Red, Flat Black, Createx airbrush pearl, and others.
I added a translucent addition to his weapon and also on his chest.
Gave him a rusty/weathered look. Painted black around his arms and face to make him look more like the Voyager class Megatron.](userimages/customs/11500/11462-1.jpg) Megatron Animated | ![[Animated Bumblebee] I repainted Bumblebee with metallic gold.
Repainted his rockets silver.
Modified his stingers so they would fold all the way into his arms and not stick out.
Make a reproduction of the autobot symbol for his chest.
Made a couple of weapons for him: a shoulder cannon that becomes his muffler in alt mode and a hand held stinger missle launcher.
Painted details all over him to be as accurate to the cartoon as possible and still keep him from looking too simplistic.](userimages/customs/9000/8999-1.jpg) Animated Bumblebee |
![[Hellboy] Hellboy was made from TFA Lockdown.
I sculpted new pieces to make his face look like HB.
I had to cut his neck down to make the new head fit for transforming.
Made his Right Hand of Doom out of sculpted epoxy clay and a plastic tube.
His revolver was sculpted in polymer and baked until hard and detailed with Testors Model Master paints.
HB's chest is sculpted epoxy clay, some deft Dremeling here and there to make the "six pack" and of course painted and detailed.
The flames on his legs are very metallic! First I removed the original green paint and then I drew the flames with a pencil, filled it in with silver and painted light coats of TMM Stop Light Red and Blue Angels Yellow over it!
The HB on the top of the car was done in the same manner, but just silver.
I also repainted all the drab grey parts that were supposed to be silver.](userimages/customs/9000/8592-1.jpg) Hellboy Transformersby jameskwebHellboy was made from TFA Lockdown.

I added weapon scars, wear and age stains, etc.
Buffed off some paint here and there, hand painted details like the "God of War" scar on his face, red and silver touches on the robot body.
A custon made weapon rounds out Blackout's arsenal of coolness!
PS. sorry I haven't been able to respond to comments made on my figures, I misplaced my username and password.

![[Ricochet Wheeljack] I removed the lame flames that the original Ricochet had and added a white racing stipe using an airbrush.
I painted the wheels with Testors red enamel and then Testors Model Master Stop Light Red which is a cool metallic red!
Details on the robot were painted by hand to make him look worn and metallic.
I made a shoulder mountable laser cannon painted chrome with wear and metal corrosion marks.
All the gold parts including the robot face were re-painted with a better Testors gold.](userimages/customs/8000/7584-1.jpg) Ricochet Wheeljack | ![[Anakin Jedi Starfighter] The original figure looks nothing like what it shows on the package. The silver is really a grey color so I painted all the "silver" parts with Testors silver.
I brushed black over it and smeared it with my figers to create the worn look.
R2-D2 was not corectly molded so I painted in the missing details and wore him out a little.
Detailed the cockpit and added glow-in-the-dark paint here and there for the controls.](userimages/customs/7500/7034-1.jpg) Anakin Jedi Starfighter Transformersby jameskwebThe original figure looks nothing like what it shows on the package. ![[Jazz] Jazz got repainted with gloss white because I thought the white of the plastic was too pale/off.
I mixed metallic blue with a bit of red to match the blue they had used and I repainted the trim on the car with that.
Repainted all the red, including pin stripes with a bolder red (the original color was an orange-red).
Cut molded headlights out and replaced them with modified lenses I got from a Solstice toy (for those that don't know Jazz is a Pontiac Solstice).
Dremeled out holes for the rear windows and added clear plastic windshields.
Added gold foil to the mirrors. Painted the rear lights to match photos of the actual car.
Painted robot in a battle worn style.
Modeled arms out of clay that can be attached where the gun usually goes. One arm has a claw at the end and the other has a fist to hold the gun.
Sadly the original claw broke so I made 2 new ones and a new arm so you can plug whatever claw you'd like to into the front of it.](userimages/customs/7000/6773-1.jpg) Jazz | ![[Firehide] The Firehide idea came to me when I got some Testors Model Master Stop Light Red paint.
I had never used this color and didn't stir it properly so it came out as a kind of burgundy.
Free-hand painted the flames on hood and sides.
I made extended exhaust stacks and step rails out of polymer clay and airbrushed them with chrome paint.
Also added tow hooks and grapple made of wire and apoxy clay.
Constructed and painted a fire extinguisher that transforms into a gun.
Added my own custom made GMC decals. Painted the fuel tank/weapons in a worn metal motif and added faded "Danger" signs by hand.
Detailed the tail lights to correct colors based on the photos of the real truck.
Added a high gloss clear-coat on body of the truck.](userimages/customs/7000/6772-1.jpg) Firehide |
![[Bumblebee '08] The photos don't do the metallic paint job justice, it looks a lot like a glass xmas ornament.
I made the arm pieces from polymer clay to make him look more like his movie counterpart.
I removed his hands and made custom hands out of polymer clay with wire and plastic fingers (similar to my Arcee custom).
A cannon can also be attach to the end of his arm and I made a glow-in-the-dark sword for him too.
Added black pin stripes, detailed the rear lights, reflectors, wheels and side scoops of the car.
I painted the robot-mode parts in a dirty, worn and scraped metal motif so when he is a robot he looks used like in the movie and when he is a car he look new.
I mixed a metallic blue for all the parts that needed it and added lots of detail like the stripes on his shoulder guards.](userimages/customs/7000/6771-1.jpg) Bumblebee '08 | ![[Doom Daddy] Big Daddy reminded me of the 50's monster model kits or EC comics so I thought I'd give him a gritty appearance.
I airbrushed the silver parts with chrome, removed the original flames and painted my own. Gave him a dark orange, black and silver paint job on the legs and dry brushed his missile launchers with silver to achieve a scaped metal look.
Modeled some claws out of polymer so they can be pushed into the arms. Made a saw out of plastic and polymer that attaches to his bumper.
Made a "Kicker sound system" that is hidden under his foot and leg flaps.](userimages/customs/7000/6674-1.jpg) Doom Daddy |
![[Arcee Metallic Blue] As most people have pointed out Arcee's face for the movie deluxe version is hideous (think Clash of the Titans!), so I went about fixing that.
I used 24-hour air-dry clay to model a new face right over the orig and painted it to look somewhat G1 and to fit my blue metallic theme.
The blue metallic was airbrushed on after I painstakingly masked the windows and other parts I didn't want to have blue.
I cut the forearms and fingers off with a Dremel tool and constructed new hands finger by finger out of pieces of left over plastic from a model kit.
The hand could now be removed and replaced by a chainsaw (apologies to Sam Raimi) or cannon.
The saw accessory was modeled out of the air-dry clay, painted and lettered by hand.](userimages/customs/7000/6630-1.jpg) Arcee Metallic Blue | |
