I didn't really have anything particular in mind, I was just planning on trying to pick one out that I could turn into a character from DC. I found a two pack of "WWE ADRENALINE" figures including Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. I jumped at this because I thought I could turn Benjamin into a decent Green Lantern, and thats what I did.
Its really just a repaint of the Benjamin Shelton figure. This was my first time trying to do a dry wash. I used Model Masters "green pearl" to paint over the green I had put on earlier. I think it turned out alright.
Just like with the Starman figure, once I save up some more money I will try to find a cheap ML figure so I can replace the legs on this one so it will fit in scale with my other 6.0" figures.
I hope you all enjoy.](userimages/customs/7000/6784-1.jpg) GL John Stewart DC Superheroesby billabong7329Back story: So I went out shopping today in hopes that I could find a few good figures for some nice customs. I didn't really have anything particular...0 comments |

I found a two pack of "WWE ADRENALINE" figures including Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. I jumped at this because I thought I could turn Benjamin into a decent Green Lantern, but I wasn't sure what to do with Haas. Then it hit me. He looks EXACTLY like Starman in the recent Justice Society of America.
All I did was paint him with glossy black, and then did the boots/gloves in glossy white. I noticed while I was painting his gloves white that I was kind of flinging the brush around which left my hands splattered in white paint. I was originally planning to make the stars on his costume by just dotting the paint here and there, but I thought the splatter effect would be much cooler. So I took the lid to my paint and I to](userimages/customs/7000/6776-1.jpg) Starman Unmasked DC Superheroesby billabong7329Back story: So I went out shopping today in hopes that I could find a few good figures for some nice customs. I didn't really know what to do so I found a picture of the Blue Superman and just decided to do my own take on it.
I used a Superman JLU figure and ripped off the cape. I then painted it black and detailed in white. At the time, I had no craft porcelain so I didn't fill in the gaps that the cape left.](userimages/customs/7000/6761-1.jpg) White Superman |
