![[Douglock] I loved this weird little character from the mid-90's, was he the resurrected former New Mutant Doug Ramsey or a rogue Phalanx spy? Well, it turned out he was the techno-organic alien Warlock in the form of his dead friend.
I basically used the same recipe as my earlier Cypher custom but I used the lower arms and lower legs from Kitty Pryde. First I removed MJ's hair then sculpted Tabby's hair, jacket and boots. The lower arms/gloves and belt are from Bucky. I then repainted the whole figure and the shades are cut from a piece of green card. The energy blast accessory is from either Jean Grey or Ms Marvel.

I wasn't happy with my previous Domino custom, the scale just seemed slightly off compared to the rest of the Marvel Universe, so I decided to do a version of the character in her original costume. I sculpted the hair and the details on the torso. The lower arms and belt are from Bucky and the gun is borrowed from Cable. Painted using Citadel paints - Chaos Black and Skull White. ![[Dazzler (Classic)] Fairly simple recipe, I used the standard MU female body with a Kitty Pryde head, sculpted Dazzler's hair and collar and repainted. I would've liked to include the roller skates but couldn't figure out a way to do it at this scale without making her look about 7' tall! I was originally going to make her in the blue costume to go with the other 80's X-Men but as I'd already done that costume in the 6" scale I thought I'd try her original look instead! Removed the tunic then loads of sanding down of the lower torso, belt and hands, then even more sculpting - the top of the boots, wrists, shoulders and the torso to try and match the metallic bands/grooves (don't know the best way to describe Colossus' metallic form lol).
I used Citadel paints to to paint the figure, blood red and a mixture of chaos black and regal blue with some silver mixed into that mixture for the metallic parts.
The cape was simply made from card and painted with the same colours. I originally intended to use some thin plastic but the paint didn't stick very well to it and the card is stiffer so it was much easier to bend into the corre](userimages/customs/29500/29355-1.jpg) Mr. Sinister Marvel Universeby x-cubI thought the Colossus figure would make a great Sinister, the original plan was just to do a basic repaint with minimal sculpting seeing as how the c...4 comments |

I removed the chest piece from Bucky and the lower arms are from Namor, sanded down with Havok's hands. I removed Bucky's hair and resculpted it so it looked more like Sunspot's hairstyle and to distinguish him a bit more from the Cypher figure I made previously. I had to use countless thin layers of white paint to cover the red and then used a thin blue-grey wash over the top to give some definition. I used a Psylocke figure again (not only are they selling for a few quid now and there still being loads of them in the shops I think it makes a pretty good base figure), I didn't want to just sculpt all the details of the costume as I wanted a clean edge on everything so I used an elastic band for the belt and sections of plastic tube for the shoulder armour. I had to use Milliput to sculpt the gloves and other features of the costume however and I also resculpted the hair slightly to differentiate her from Psylocke.
