Never understood why the original figure had a pony tail when the comics and cartoon sported a more
lion's mane look, so I took a GI Joe Rise of Cobra Cover Girl figure and went to work. Removed her
hair, ID tag, and then used apoxie sculpt to smooth out her abs and head indents. Chiselled away
at her head to give her a thinner look. (ok maybe a bit too angular) then used apoxie to create her
mane. She can't turn her head now but I feel that's a small sacrifice for what I feel turned out as
a good sculpt.
Admittedly I had trouble painting the eyes over but it was tough at 4" scale....
Almost forgot, the harness she's wearing comes from General Hawk, also from Gi Joe Rise of

Originally this figure was a DCSH Superman figure, which I bashed into a classic Hal GL figure quite awhile back. But then later I got the DCUC GL Hal and have been wondering what to do with this guy. Seeing this movie made up my mind. First I did some head mods... carved in his cheeks a bit to resemble the movie a bit more, making him thinner but hopefully not gaunt. Then I realized the Supe's hair wasn't going to cut it and added some apoxie sculpt as hair to approximate the do that Hal has in the DVD. I am way happy with how it turned out... the volume was really needed now that I compare it. Heck, I might even redo my Superman now :).

The shuttlecraft doesn't quite fit in all the way at the back, but it does snap into place. Close enough. Also, unlike TOS, the warp nacelles can fold down ala' Star Trek Voyager... an unintentional bonus based on the parts I was using.
