So here he is, no.60, Cody V.2 for my Final Fight set! I have to be honest in that I didn't come up with this recipe and I really wish I knew who came up with it to give them the credit for it, but thanks to some pics I was given as reference, I was able to make a Cody that I am very proud of...with some of my own touches. The main reason I chose Green Lantern as a base was, when I compared the figure to the reference pics, all of the linework for the suit except those around the upper body matched up perfectly to Ippatsuman's suit; of course the physique matched too. Unlike most of the stuff I do, this one wasn't sitting on my desk for weeks/months waiting to be finished, however, I did intend to make him months ago when I found a DC Kong figure in a bargain bin for 5 bucks but had no idea how to proceed. A few days ago, I saw something in my parts bin that gave me an idea on how to make this guy, so here's the build breakdown:
Head: Helmet from a Megaman Mettaur, cut, grafted, and heavy sculpt work done for the face, fangs and fur.
Body: DC Kong, one finger cut off of each hand; shaved down and sculpted at crotch
Feet: Sota E. Honda, drilled for new joints from DC Toyman, sculpt for cuffs around ankles.
That's it! Pretty simple stuff for what started off as a head-scratcher; the paint job was the easiest part for a change with the exception of the gums and the 'gloss' on the eyes. Here's the breakdown (like I said, simple stuff):
Head: Neca Bionic Commando, hair from an LCBH Anne O'Brienne w/sculpt
Body: DC Dr. Manhattan
After a thorough paint job, he was done. The thing that actually took me the longest with this one was the head choice, but I think this pick works, and since (from what I understand of the SF3 story) Gill and Urien are brothers with similar physiques, I felt it made sense to use the same base for the body. I've always loved Megaman ever since I was little, but for a few reasons, the X series is near and dear to my heart, especially Megaman X4. That being said, I've felt that the Blue Bomber was never done justice when it came to the figure treatment and got the Jazawares line purely because of the subject matter. I recently decided that this wasn't good enough and that I should be able to improve on the base figures they made, so I took an X and a Zero figure and made a few changes.

Head: Neca Poseidon's Rage Kratos w/styrene ball, beads for studs, and hair/beard sculpt
Upper Body: LCBH Wraal, various chains for jewelery
Arms & Forearms: ML AOA Sabertooth/scratch build
Hands: Sota Guile/beads for rings, sculpt for the braclets
Legs: PA KH Roxas w/sculpt for boxers
Shins & Boots: PA FFX Tidus
I had a lot of fun with this custom, and was focused primarily on conveying the character's intensity and proportions. Like I said, J.I.B provided me with a bio for the posting of the figure, and he breaks down like this:
JoKeR
Real Name: Crys Dontrell Ferguson
Nickname(s): The Insane Clown, Phunny, Loli-Pop
Hometown: Temple a.k.a Trouble Town, TX
Age: 22

Truth be told, I'd almost forgotten that I needed to do this character for the set, but as I thought about it, the recipe seemed to work in my head, so with a little excitement, I tackled this all but forgotten character.
It was a pretty simple set-up actually. I had a SF4 Ryu body lying around since I used the head for Alex, and I thought to myself, "If I just fill in the tears at the bottom of the pants and take off the gi, I'm halfway there!" So, after setting that up, I realized that using a Sota Balrog head would be an awesome and accurate way to go, and 2 Cammy braids later, he was built.
As usual, the paint app. was a test of patience and will (my detailing brush bit the dust) and not having the right brushes made it a headache. All in all though, it was a fun custom, and I think he looks pretty darn cool; it definately made me appreciate this under-used cha](userimages/customs/14000/13797-1.jpg) Dee Jay Street Fighterby RenmauzoNow here's one that's almost been forgotten in the SF universe, custom no. 35, Dee Jay, for my SFA3 set! ![[Dudley] I've been waiting for this day, the day when I finally have my favorite SF character done, custom no. 34, Dudley from SF3:TS! Only 2 more to go now, and yes Niallskie, I will totally do a complete cast post when the other 2 are done this week.
This one was a labour of love for sure. Quite like Elena, I had been wondering how I was going to make this figure, and then it hit me...well, right after I had taken apart the dad from Heroes amd one of my Guile figs for 2 other projects. So that's what I ended up doing; I used the top half of Guile and the bottom half of the dad character, fused them together (needed to sculpt the sash anyway) grabbed a couple of boxing gloves from a Sota Balrog (which was the only part of the recipe I had had before this, lol) and then sculpted the rest, like the ruffled shirt and the shirt sleeves. The suspenders are elastic bands so that the can move with the chest, and the head (Guile's head) had a complete hair re-sculpt done and a moustache added, whi](userimages/customs/14000/13751-1.jpg) Dudley Street Fighterby RenmauzoI've been waiting for this day, the day when I finally have my favorite SF character done, custom no. 34, Dudley from SF3:TS! Funilly enough, this one has been sitting on the back burner since last summer, and I'm not quite sure why I didn't go back to finish him until now, but that aside, the build breaks down like this:
I did a head swap from a Sota Fei Long onto a Sota Gen body, sculpted a hat, and added the pig tail from a Capcom Queens Cammy as his ponytail. I then dremmeled down the body and swapped the arms from the same Fei Long, but kept the Gen hands and sculpted on the cuffs and finger loops. I added the strip down the middle and made the ties out of rubber band pieces. The robe was cut to the appropriate length and sliced down the middle in front. After a little more sculpt here and there, the paint app was done (quite possibly the hardest paint app I've attempted) and I picked up one of those Tech Deck skateboards to go along with him.

![[TeX] For custom no. 32, I thought I'd change the tune to something a little different. Here's an original piece that I've been given permission by the character creator to share. He took a wide variety of parts, which go as follows:
Head: Some Battlestar Galactica figure
Coat: MK Kano
Upper Body: Sota Gouken
Arms/Forearms: ML AOA Sabertooth/scratch build
Hands: (L) Sota Adon, (R) Sota Gen
Legs/Torso: PA KH Roxas/scratch build
Shoes: LCBH Savage Dragon
The chains were fodder as was the braclet, wallet chain, and wrap, and the belt bckle came from a GR Vengeance. The characters' creator gave me a bio to accompany the character, who is from a series he created that goes like this:
TeX
Real name: Jarod Johns
Nickname(s): Dat Dude, Fresh, Mr. Swagga
Hometown: Brockton, MA
Age: 19
B-Day: May 10
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 187 lbs
Eyes: White
Hair: Black, Fade
Distinguishing Marks: (Back) Angel wings; (Right Arm) skulls (forearm)

I had been wondering how the hell I was going to do this one for the past year, and then one day, I found a loose ML She-Hulk at my local figure store for 10$, and say to myself, "Perfect!"
From there, I did a re-sculpt on most of the hair, carved the shoes into feet, added on all of the braclets and necklaces, dremmeled her down and added wire ribbon for her top. The repaint was fun, and the facial features were painted with the end of a toothpick 'cause my brush skills aren't great when it gets that small.
I am really happy with the way she turned out and really feel that the base figure was the perfect choice. I hope you all like her, so let me know, and I'll be back with 3 of the remaining 4 characters to complete this set before weeks' end.
Cheers!
