![[Iron Patriot] Hi guys. I'm back with a simple yet very displayable custom work: Iron Patriot at 1:18 scale.
I did not like the Marvel Universe version of Iron Patriot since it was an inaccurate EXTREMIS repaint. I always felt that Norman Osborn had access to all of the Stark tech armors but not to the Extremis tech so I did my own cheap repaint. anyone can do this one in just a matter of days. Go on and do it! Hope you guys like it.](userimages/customs/37500/37134-1.jpg) Iron Patriot Marvel Universeby LikoHi guys. Remember that ROC BREAKER figure I used to build my Ultimate Nick Fury? Turns out that Breaker's head (with a lot of careful nips and tweaks) can actually be good to create a Robert Downey Jr. likeness after all. I'd love to get another to sculpt different hair stiles and some shades! Now id I only could find a suited body to have a civies Tony Stark to my collection. ![[Ultimate Nick Fury] Finally I got around to finish him. This little project I had ever since I read ULTIMATES and long before the "Movie Nick Fury" action figure was announced. I finally found the base materials when I got a G.I Joe ROC Breaker figure and one STAR WARS Mace Windu arena showdown head. I always hated how huge Samuel L. Jackson's eye patch was in the IRON MAN 2 movie so I sculpted it based on the one Nick fury wears in the comics, sculpted a little beard and painted an elegant trimmed mustache. Al painted with Model Master acrylics and to top it all of I even gave him 4 different looks that combined with Mace Windu's deadly stare for a mean, deadly, Mo#!!*F&%#! bad Ultimate Nick Fury.
Can you dig it?

Here we had our not-quite awesome XMO:W Gambit and as it is standard now I got a DC HUSH figure to get his coat but also I kind of liked the boots too since the figure had very short ankles. I also gave him new forearms from a Mutt Williams figure in order for him to actually twist his wrists and hold his staff with both hands when needed. I also sculpted the metal collar and something that these little Gambit figures are missing: EARS.It took a little while to finish but once yo get past the awkwardness of the double knee-pads you end up with a Gambit that actually rocks! ![[Ms. Marvel] Long before the Marvel Universe line was announced, I collected Super hero Showdown figures. Yep, they are a bit fragile to say the least but I loved the fact that they were Marvel legends in smaller scale so I decided to create a small-scale Ms. Marvel using a spare ELEKTRA figure. I had to beef-up all of her physique since the base figure is Kate Moss-thin and then I sculpted the top of her hair. Had to add Ms.Marvel trade-mark fist so I switched her left open hand with the fist of a SHS Spidey. I decided to paint the domino mask with her sexy eyes showing instead of the meaner(but easier) white eyes and ended up with a super-articulated, 3.75 inch beauty that can kick serious a$5!I hope you like her as much as I do!](userimages/customs/26500/26423-1.jpg) Ms. Marvel Marvel Universeby LikoLong before the Marvel Universe line was announced, I collected Super hero Showdown figures. I happen to love them ALL and once I completed the collection I knew I had to have my own Nick Fury. All it took was a spare Mr. Fantastic, Fixit sculpt for the straps, belts, gun holster and buckles and some careful painting. The gun came from the fodder box and what I like the most is the mixture of gunmetal and navy-blue that gave my ideal "shield" uniform color. Hope you guys like this because there's a lot more coming this way!](userimages/customs/26500/26314-1.jpg) Classic Nick Fury Marvel Universeby LikoSHS Marvel figures that nobody wanted? ![[Crossbones] Hi guys. Here we go again! This is my first MARVEL custom using a G.I.joe figure as the base figure. This guy here used to be a 25 anniversary Roadblock inspired by crimsondynamo90's own Crossbones custom. I had to use Apoxie sculpt to beef up the arms and to smooth the face mask and add the knee pads. Rifle an gun holster from the fodder box.
I noticed that in the comics Crossbones went back to the trousers look. Luckily with this figure you can also try the Vest look and there you have your mini-ML-Crossbones.](userimages/customs/19500/19055-1.jpg) Crossbones Marvel Universeby LikoHi guys. Here we go again! I eliminated the pointy boot tops, streamlined the mask, added the glove and boot pouch straps, added the zipper line and leg seams not to mention that I did the whole belt and X buckle from scratch. Please leave your comments, whatever they may be. They mean a lot to me.
Thanks and I hope you like this one too.](userimages/customs/12000/11657-1.jpg) Astonishing Wolverine Superhero Showdownby LikoThis could look as a simple repaint but if you look closely you'll find a lot of features that make this custom unique. I eliminated the pointy boot t...4 comments |
![[Ultimate Captain America] My first custom figure of the Superhero Showdown series was not Bullseye but this Ultimate Captain America. I started by accident. I only noticed that the original figure was a little too "un-heroic" for my taste and I started to bulk up the back muscles and broaden his neck and filled up his boots and gave him belt pouches. Then I finally read ULTIMATES 2 and I had to make that figure. it was tough because I liked the upgrade but taking it to the Ultimate level was a good effort that I enjoyed more than I expected.
Every single part (save for the shield) of this figure has a custom operation on it! Please DO let me know what you guys think. Please!
Thank you all.
