![[Gambit and Rogue] Gambit was easy- I painted his blue metal parts with a more realistic looking chrome paint. His coat, arms and hands are from ML Ultimate Nick Fury. I filed off the Shield logo on the sleeve. I was going to paint his coat, but I really liked the color so I left it as is.
As for Rogue, she was a lot of work. I removed Kitty Pryde's head and painted the body, using base coats and washes for details. I then took Mystique's head, painted it, removed the hair, and then sculpted my own. I had to re-do the face about 4 times. Her eye color doesn't really show up in the photos, but it looks great in person. Really happy with this one.

I used ML Havok's body; I like the build and proportions, plus that flat extended hand is PERFECT for and Iceman pose. I cut off Havok's headpiece and laid down a white base of Acrylic paint. From there it was just a matter of mixing blues and dry brushing. His joints could use some improvement, and in the right light you can still see the outlines in Havok's mask. For the most part, though, I think he's a better looking figure than the one that Toybiz put out.
