![[Supreme Court Judge Dredd] Been done before. Same basic concept. I just used a Cap icon as the base and went with a bit of a color variation. Almost gave him a black robe-like cape (looked ok over the shoulder pads). Used as many parts from the model as possible, including the gun. Gun base from ?... can't remember, but I'd bet a bunch of you will recognize it. Also the boot holster is now the cover for a boot knife holster. The helmet is removable, but the skin tone of the now bald head doesn't match the face. ![[Clayface 12"] This one got away from me a bit. I'm soooo glad to be done with this guy. He was started 2, maybe 3 years ago as something to do with left-over bits of apoxie from other figures. When this contest was announced he was less than halfway finished. So this contest was really the inspiration to get him completed. Over the last month I have been working on him day and night.
The lower half is a movie edition roto Hulk with no feet. The top half is a FF4 movie edition roto Thing with no head. The left arm of the Thig was cut in the middle and extended about an inch to make it a better match with the right arm. The whole figure weighs about 4 lbs, 3 lbs of that being apoxie. The teeth are pieces of leather strap, placed and hardened with idb gel. Base coated with brown and top brushed with golden brown. Clear coated matte finish. ![[Killer Croc] This figure was basically made for this contest. I started him just days before this contest was announced. Anyone who has had one of these figures knows that it is horribly articulated. Besides for that the posture makes it almost impossible to stand the figure. But I love the sculpt. ![[Destro] To me Destro was always like second in command of Cobra. And he was the weapons supplier. I wanted him to be really big and buff like how Rob Zombie re-visioned Micheal Myers.
The boots are from a Captain America MLIcon. Now I know that Destro doesn't traditionally wear swashbucklers, but I thought it looked pretty good.
The right glove is 2 pieces of left over armor from a Toy Biz Green Goblin. The middle missile is actually a G.I.Joe missile. The other 2 are repulsor blasts from an Iron Man. With all that missile on a gauntlet I felt like Destro might could use a little upper arm armor.
The left glove is many pieces from the fodder box. I didn't like the concept of carrying grenades on a gauntlet so I opted for a blaster. Maybe some high tech blaster gauntlet that only a weapons supplier would have.

But also always felt like this figure should be unmask-able. After I cut the face plate off and started carving away at the Venom head, I started feeling like I had to have chosen the hardest way to do this project. However I am rather pleased with the results.
The face is from an unmasked Venom MLIcon. Lots of cutting and carving on the face head to get it to fit just right into the hollow rubber head on the body. I put apoxie in the rubber head and pushed the face head into it removing the excess. The helmet/mask combo is kinda like Vader's, the blue helmet is removed and then the face plate. The face plate has a black elastic strap on the back. The face plate was also extended just a bit.
