![[The Orkolytes] More of an accessory for my Orko figure than a stand alone figure but I think they qualify as their own figures. Just a fun project to work on alongside some more serious stuff and to help Orko carry a bit more weight in my display. It also felt pretty good to add more to "The collection" since i've been busy working on none MOTU related customs and looking after my boys of course. I'm calling them the Orkolytes and I picture them as helpers conjured by Orko both to help him in battle and to tidy his room when he can't be bothered. Anyhoo onto the pretty simple recipe

200x Orko base adapted to fit the two.

He provided me with a reference shot which he wanted me to follow as closely as possible. I think I did it pretty good justice. Here's the recipe for the Fury vs Captain Britain.

![[Hand of the Miniature Master] The hand of the miniature master!!
A mythical disembodied hand known to frequent figurerealm dot com and other modelling websites. The hand of the miniature master has the ability to summon a miniature version of any item it may need or want. It uses it's miniatures in a never ending quest to rule the world of miniature making. Although the hand often creates minis from popular media such as DC comics, Thundercats and Transformers, it's main weapon are its vintage video game characters. The more obscure the better for the hand as this only means his enemies will have little knowledge of how to fight the miniature. It is thought that the left hand is always accompanied by a right hand but this has never been proved as the right is a shy and elusive hand.

Some extra notes now the contest is done,
First off, massive thanks to everyone who voted, not just for my Beastman but for all the entrants.
Secondly, another massive thanks to all the creators for all their fine work, so much eye candy, for me anyhow.
Also wanted to add the base figure had been languishing in my fodder box for around 2 years and he probably would have gone in the bin during my next fodder clear out, sooo glad this contest came around when it did as it gave me the motivation to get one of my favourite MOTU characters done.

A lot of sanding and sculpting went into this one and a whole lot of sculpting too. Most of the articulation comes from a Thorbuster Ironman and has been sculpted over and to blend in. I'll give a full breakdown of how each joint was achieved below. He's gone from 0 to 31 P.O.A in about 6 months, yeah, I started him that long ago and that's probably being generous.

![[Man-at-Arms] Continuing with my MOTU habit, it's Duncan AKA Man-At-Arms. A few shouts to make on this one, in no particular order, Pock63 for the lantern base, Bobtheodd for the armour and weapons and Zombieforhire for the Man-at-arms, cheers guys!!. I'd also like to thank all the people who have made this guy before me, Arez, vidmouse, madtinker and Crisco as I looked to the theirs for inspiration and ideas. Well after all that onto the recipe:
Base= DCUC five pack John Stewart green Lantern
Head = 200x man-at-arms - dremmeled to fit
Right arm = DCUC dr.midnight with 200x man-at-arms grafted on and sculpted to blend. Changed the shoulder disc for the GL one as the original was broken and wanted the green disc in there.
Left arm = Green Lantern up to elbow then Dr.M, 200x man-at-arms dremmeled out and sculpted to blend.
Lower right leg = Dr.Midnight for the brown joint, sculpted bindings and fur.
Lower left leg = DCUC Deathstroke for the orange joint, 200x man-at-arms armour and foot drem](userimages/customs/29500/29432-1.jpg) Man-at-Arms | ![[Ram-Man] For this one I decided to use a little artistic license. I saw the picture of the supes and Mongul 2 pack and thought the scale was perfect. I originally planned to fatten him up a bit but whilst looking at past ram mans I was reminded of Madtinker's excellent ram man using an x3 juggs and thought he looked great all muscled up. So I decided to just go for a super ram man and I think I like this look better. Here's the recipe:
Base = DCUC Mongul
Head = 200x ram man - really wanted to make the helmet removable but didn't want to mess up my only head.
Neck = Sculpted over armour from Mongul.
Armour = 200x ram man
Arms = Resculpted Mongul's arms to hide the armour plates.
Hands = 200x ram man, popped straight in there no alterations.
Skirt and belt = 200x Ram man, sliced up to give individual pleats
Axes = 200x ram man axe, thought this one was way too small to be a decent weapon so it's now his sidearm. Big axe is an unknown head with a paintbrush handle sanded down to fit h](userimages/customs/29500/29181-1.jpg) Ram-Man |
![[Stratos] Next up in my continuing quest to do all the major MOTU players it Sean Coner......wait, I mean Stratos. This one came together pretty quick over the last week, I didn't even stop to take WIP shots for this one. The Paint job took the longest here, lot's of detail to pick out and far too many S logos, I mean surely you don't need your initials on every piece of technology, or maybe that's jus the way it works in Avion?
Anyhoo, here's the recipe
Base = DCUC Dr. Impossible, any would do but this seemed best as it's mostly black.
Head = 200x Stratos Dremmel to fit DCUC neck and peg.
Lower arms and wings = 200x Stratos grafted onto Dr. Imp upper arms and sculpted fur.
Harness, belt, loin cloth = 200x Stratos.
Backpack = 200x Stratos, dremmel to back of harness to fit, still fires but I might jus glue that up??
Lower legs = 200x Stratos.
Feet = 200x Stratos grafted onto Dr. Imp. Sculpted fur around bottom of thrusters and on top of feet.

Due to the amount of excellent Skeletors going round at the moment I decided I would do this Fire armour Skeletor before I do my Standard one. I wanted him to look close to his original colours but with the snazzy flame effect still in place. Here's the recipe:
Recipe
Base = DCUC Black suit superman
Head = Helmet from 200x fire skely with a ghostrider skull grafted in, filled the whole helmet with hot glue to create peg hole.
Lower arms and hands = the lower arms are composed of three different figures (I'd already cut them for another custom I had planned and had cut them too short for this one). Supes arms from the joint with XMC wolvies lower bits, the hands and armour from 200x fire skely.
Shoulders = unfortunately he has two right shoulders but i don't think it detracts, one from the base figure and the other from DCUC Vigilante I used for trapjaw. There was no way I was gonna sacrifice a whole figure for a shoulder.
Loin Cloth = 200x fi](userimages/customs/29000/28716-1.jpg) Skeletor - Fire Armour |
