Everyone always asks, Where is Waldo? But no one seems to understand the real question, the gravity of the man’s very existence. They miss the real questions. Who is Waldo? What is Waldo? Why is Waldo?
A crowd of people at a spaceport. In the middle is a man in his mid-thirties in an unassuming outfit- a striped undershirt, a hooded jacket, old jeans, an odd carry-on which could be easily missed in the rush of pre-boarding, a bag across his back holding some long object- another carry-on, no doubt. All of this probably breathing apparatus for Space-Scuba, nothing out of the ordinary. The only marker of his existence is a pom-pom on his hat, a relic of a lost age of cold weather t](userimages/customs/26000/25956-1.jpg) (Where's) Waldo: 2099 G.I. ![[Fodderbot Atmos] I'm proud to announce the latest member of the Fodderbots line of Sculptural Figures. He was done a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to make sure the pictures reflected the figure. I think they do fairly well.
Like the other three Fodderbots I've posted so far (Sentus, Lumens, and Levethan), Atmos is 100% fodder from my bin. Notable pieces include random MacFarlane parts, a Matrix Sentinel Figure, and an Ultima Online Dragon. Otherwise I can't even begin to identify the parts, which is how I like it.
Atmos represents Humanity that has Forgotten that it is Human. Take that as you will, reinterpret it, reject that interpretation entirely... it's art, first and foremost. The greatest honor for me would be for you to disagree with my interpretation enough to offer your own!
The last picture in the series also gives you a look at two other completed Fodderbots that I haven't posted to the site just yet... but I'm not telling you anything about them just yet. :)](userimages/customs/26000/25587-1.jpg) Fodderbot Atmos Originalby Merge SentinelI'm proud to announce the latest member of the Fodderbots line of Sculptural Figures. FODDERBOTS!
Some quick info. The Fodderbot line is sort of a mix between a sculpture exhibition and an action figure line. Its purpose is primarily artistic- they don’t belong to a universe or have enemies of a backstory or anything. They represent humanity and explore Uncanny Valley through the use of broken toy parts and fodder. They discover, each in their own way, both the simplicity ad complexity of what constitutes ‘human’. The color scheme (Stone Gray, Bronze, and Iron Gray) is a further harkening to Humanity, invoking the three-age scheme of human civilization presented by Anthropologist Christian Thomson.
Alright, enough snooty-sounding explanation, on to why you’re here! THE FIGURES!

![[XXXI & Dracaena] The great beast Dracaena was said to be a legend, and nothing more- A monster told of to little ones so that they didn't attempt to escape the plasticine domes that kept them alive and away from the poisonous air of the outside world. No one dared believe a creature like that could exist- part alien, part human, part machine. Maybe something like it had once existed, but in the millennia since New Earth was colonized, since the legend had existed, it must have died. It had to have died.
And XXXI, that poor noble soul of the nearby city of Extrifius. A mechanic by trade, always longing to venture into and colonize the world outside the bubble, into the poison and hellish death that ironically made this planet habitable to those inside the dome. He didn't start as a number, though. His name was Jid, and he was the favorite mechanic of kings and noblemen. He was the best there was. Started off with a Star Trek Warp Series McCoy from the new movie. The uniform's shirt was actually two parts- the sleeves, which were attached to the figure, and a poncho-like rubber torso-portion cut to fit with sleeve holes in it. I cut the front of it vertically so it fell like a jacket, and sculpted on buttons on one side and cut button holes on the other. Then, I used ApoxieSculpt to actually sculpt over the bare chest of the figure and used a toothpick and watery brush to detail it into a button-up shirt. I went in with an exacto-knife to make the once-poncho look a lot more like a jacket. Then, I used ApoxieSculpt to alter the hairline, add a goatee, and put on a watch. Then it was a matter of repainting every little square centimeter of that the clothing and hair. At the time, gloss paints seemed like a good idea, but retrospectively I should have gone w](userimages/customs/19500/19402-1.jpg) My Bad Self Star Trekby Merge SentinelOriginally entered for a contest a while back. Once, long ago, her name was Marciela Tiririca, daughter of a wealthy Spanish man in charge of “Project Relegate”, a program that Europe had adopted to place all the peoples of Europe back in their correct countries of origin- for free- to dispel the rash of inner conflict that had turned the continent into a mad pit of battle for all but the very lucky, or the very pure of blood. And of course, there was a separate country for the deformed and disabled- La Boza.
Marciela herself was not an ugly child- in fact, she was quite beautiful, and talented. By age ten, she played guitar, harp, and piano at professional levels. I also wanted to play with the concept of accessories, so this one has a removable heavy-sword and a light cannon (yes, it works, it fires a very bright green light that is clear in darkness up to at least 30 feet and probably more than that). Plus, I included a fully articulated restriction chain, which looks really cool on it.
To construct this beast, one requires:
- A Xevos Bone Jack Kit
- A Gameboy Advance Snake Light
- A Spawn Warthog
- A Pencil Eraser
- A Robotix Model Kit
- A Chain Bracelet
- A McDonalds Spy Light Toy
- An Unknown Battling Robot Model Kit, presumably Mega Blox
Note that the paint FX were achieved with a toothbrush and a Paintbrush and nothing more.

![[Crustacial Sektid Youngling] This this was, no lie, my saving figure. I said to myself "Alright, you have one more chance to make a figure you actually like, or you give this up and go back to PowerPoint illustration and Music Composition". Well, I'm posting it, so, guess what, it's actually worth looking at.
To make a Crustacial Sektid Youngling, one will require the following ingridients:
- A small-size Planet playset- I forget what they are called. If someone can identify it, please do.
- A Spawn Warthog
- A Spawn Rhino
- A Model of a Dodo Skeleton
- A Final Fantasy Cerberus Figure
- A Matrix Sentinel Figure
You will also need an excess of Hot Melt Glue to create the just-out-of-the-embryo effect, but if you don't have that, just paint the Red parts red-brown and the White parts a dark silver and BAM! Crustacial Sektid Wyrm.

This one was made mostly because I realized I was on to something, and had pieces I thought would look good together.
The Recipe for the Abyss Devourer High Veteran is:
- A Moby Lick Street Shark Figure
- A Model Dodo Skeleton
- A Gun from off of of an old Wolverine Figure
- A Final Fantasy Cerberus Figure
- A Spawn Rhino Figure
- A Lost in Space Robot Figurine
- A Xeevoz - Bone Jack Kit
I was a little smarter about the construction on this one, not just chopping and haphazardly stuffing things where they didn't belong.
I did a little planning and pre-painting first.

![[Necrotic Warborg Commander] The Necrotic WarBorg Commander is my first Custom, and looks like it. However, it's interesting to see the progress, so I figured that my future fans might like looking and and seeing what started it all.
For this delicious treat of a custom, you will require:
- An unidentifiable dog-disfigured Soldier figure with articulation points at the neck, shoulders, and legs.
- A Plastic Comb
- A Plastic Fork
- A Hair Pin
- A Battle Bots Figure
- A Lost In Space Robot Miniature
- A Kinder Egg Robot Toy
- An Axe Head I Found Torn Off Some Poor Figurine
Being my first custom, it was honestly a bit of a hack job. I didn't even know there WAS a right way to do this, so I just chopped off one leg at the knee, tore an arm off, literally hammered everything else into pieces, and hot-melted the God out of the poor thing. Then I used Acrylics and a medium-sized paintbrush to make it look a little less repulsive. And heck, from a distance, it worked.
