![[Edward Scissorhands Custom Head] Like many others, I also decided to upgrade the head on my Hot Toys Edward Scissorhands figure. base head was made by pulling the face off a Mad Hatter head, sculpting onto it and removing eyebrows. Hair is tibetan lambswool....

![[Mad Hatter Tarrant Hightopp] Here's my 12inch Mad Hatter custom from Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland,
His head is a Johnny Depp base head from a custom figure site, the shirt was a DID shirt, I dyed it pink and sewed lace cuffs in,
All his clothing was hand sewn (coat, socks, kilt, waistcoat, tie), his hair is lambswool.
His buttons, pins, gloves, bandolier, thread spools, peacock hatpin, jeweled hatpin, sporran, scissorholster, and scarf on his hat were all handmade. His pocketwatch was from a Napoleon action figure, I cracked the crystal open so I could paint the watchface and reseal it, the watchfob and toggle clasp were handmade and linked to the chain.
The hat, shoes and interchangeable hands are from a Medicom Hatter figure, and have been completely repainted.
The sword is also a Medicom accessory.
I definitely need to invest in a better camera, the detail I put into this is really quite ridiculous. I even lined his coat! There's 6 pairs of tiny scissors on his belt, and a tiny gold pin in his ring! I even](userimages/customs/28000/27671-1.jpg) Mad Hatter Tarrant Hightopp | ![[Alice Kingsley 12 Inch Custom Figure] I decided my Medicom 12 inch Hatter needed an Alice, but since there don't seem to be any plans for an official figure anytime soon....
I made my own 12inch Alice using plain custom figure parts that I painted to an appropriate flesh tone. Her face was done by using a custom figure head with the right colour blonde hair, and sculpting the generic Barbie-ish face to something more "Alice-ey" with epoxy. Her clothes are all hand sewn, she has a 2-piece dress with snap closures, 2 petticoats (one striped, one white),striped socks and gloves, flesh-toned sleeves, bead buttons, lace collar, polka-dot ruffled bloomers and white leather lace-up boots. The first pic has her posed next to the 12inch Medicom Hatter, which I'm seriously considering repainting...
*I've just put up pics of her with the newer petticoat I made (much more screen-accurate fabric)*

![[Dark Knight Joker/Harley Repaints] Here's a simple repaint. This is an older one, I know it's been done many times, but I've been trying to gather together all my custom pics in one spot. The Harley Quinn is the DCU one, with her face repainted. I thought the mint green face was just awful looking. The Joker is just a face repaint, shirt and tie repaint, a bit of hair resculpt, and some minor scuffing and shading on his vest, shoes and coat.](userimages/customs/23500/23246-1.jpg) Dark Knight Joker/Harley Repaints | ![[Arcee G1 Repaint] Here's another custom I did awhile ago, a G1 repaint of the movie Arcee. ![[Shockwave] Here's a custom I did quite a while ago, figured I may as well post my Transformer customs on here with my other stuff...
He's one of my favorites, made from a movie Sideways figure.
Spray metallic purple Tamiya paint, custom sculpted head, hose from a Grindhouse Tarantino figure accessory, as well as parts of his cannon arm.
His eye is one of those clear glue-on crystals that girls stick to their cellphones, with a drop of clear yellow tamiya onto it to make it rounded and flashy.](userimages/customs/23500/23181-1.jpg) Shockwave | ![[Mad Hatter] This is my ultimate version of Tim Burton's Mad Hatter, made from the small Medicom figure (un-customized figure is the first pic in the brown suit). The main problem with the official figure is that it is more of a statue, with absolutely no joints or poseability. A Mad Hatter that can't even do the slightest Futterwakken? Complete madness!
I basically hacked the figurine up into many, many pieces. I tried to keep as many parts from the original figure as possible, and incorporated pieces from two other figures to give him poseable joints and accessories; the collar and upper body were basically hollowed out so the new neck and shoulders could be fitted into the torso and the gaps stuffed with epoxy. I also added a swivel joint into the new upper arms. His socks are fabric painted with fabric markers, and conveniently hide his knee and calf joints.
I also figured I would go all out and give him a removeable hat and hair, unfortunately this involved cutting his hat off of his head](userimages/customs/23500/23169-1.jpg) Mad Hatter |
![[Harley Quinn (the Batman)] Here's my version of Harley Quinn from "The Batman" cartoon. Love or hate the show, you must admit that it's a great looking Harley.
Base figure was a Batman animated series Catwoman, not the grey one, the skinny black one from season 4 when the character design went all weird....
Jester cowl, collar and pompoms are epoxy sculpt, acrylic paints and dullcote spray.
I'll be sure to put up pics of Mr J as soon as he's fixed (I finished him and then decided he needed "improving". Boy, was THAT a mistake!)

![[Poison Ivy Face Modified] I had to break out the epoxy to repair a Poison Ivy I had gotten cheap (damaged), and I thought I may as well pretty her up. I wasn't crazy about the anime treatment they had given her face, she seemed too elf-like and quirky to me, I thought she should be more sultry and dangerous looking....
I basically smoothed epoxy over her elf-mouth (it was just a lipless groove! What's with that?) and made her some lips instead.
I also got rid of the pointy elf ears by molding her hair over the tips and blending it back and under. It now blends quite nicely into her original hair. Very simple, but effective. I think she looks quite a bit better now.](userimages/customs/21500/21166-1.jpg) Poison Ivy Face Modified Batmanby missharleyquinnI had to break out the epoxy to repair a Poison Ivy I had gotten cheap (damaged), and I thought I may as well pretty her up. For this contest, I decided that a 1989 Disintegration-era Robert Smith would be the most obvious choice; this tends to be the first image of the Cure that most people recognize. This particular look can be from the Lovesong video or from an 89 concert.
The base figure can be seen in the second pic, as well as some of the sculpting and modifications before painting. The part that took the most work was the face- a lot of fine trimming, slicing and sanding to get the fine details. This was very slow and time-consuming, but well worth it. It definitely means the difference between having a figure of Robert Smith, or having a figure of Some Guy Dressed As Robert Smith.
The feet were cut off and repositioned -Mr.Smith usually stands pigeon-toed;)

![[Delirium Figure] Hi everybody,
I've started doing an Endless figure set, mostly because the official figures either don't fit well together as a set/ were never made. Here's my version of Delirium, she's in various clothes that she wore during the Brief Lives comic. She took a fair amount of work, her left arm had to be sanded to remove the sweater texture so her arm could be bare (missing a sleeve in comic art), a section of her shirt front had to be shaved off and sculpted so it would be an open cardigan over bare skin. Her hair and a large section of her head was cut off so I could epoxy over it to give Delirium her punky half-shaved hairdo. Skirt and shoes are epoxy, fake fur on collar and chain on sweater clip.
I also painted a Schleich german shepherd to be a Barnabus for her.
Enjoy, and wish me luck on her brothers and sisters!](userimages/customs/21000/20826-1.jpg) Delirium Figure Sandmanby missharleyquinnHi everybody,
