![[TF Movie Style G1 Autobot Cliffjumper] Been working on a 1/24 scale movie-fied G1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper for some time now. Finally got Cliffjumper finished. Basically a hybrid of the movie look and CJ's G1 robot and alt modes. Used a 1/24 1978 Porsche 924 Turbo model kit as well as a Bionicle skeleton and bits from Gundam kits, sheet styrene, miliput, and etched brass.
The head was a real challenge and a lot of fun. Used everything but the kitchen sink on it, I think. Modified Lego, Gundam parts, a piece from a mini Y-wing from an old Star Wars Hoth model kit, the rear view mirrors from the Porsche model, etched brass aircraft detailing bits, as well as parts made using styrene and some milliput sculpted parts.
This non-transforming maquette stands at just over 7.25 inches, making him about 14.5 feet tall in the real world. At least 19 points of articulation. Painted with Tamiya Flat Black and Italian Red and detailed with acrylic and enamel paints. The red car parts were finished with future floor polish. Made using a modified Bionicle & Neo Shifter skeleton and a 1/24 scale Hasegawa WWII Willys Jeep model kit. The kit was carefully cut up into a couple hundred pieces and attached to the skeleton. The head was built using bits from multiple sources, including Legos, Gundam, TF/Marvel Crossover Hulk, Microman, styrene, etched brass and some sculpting using white stuff compound.
Painted the entire figure. Base coat is Tamiya Olive Drab 2. Used acrylics and enamels for the detail painting. Also custom cut & applied the Jeep kit's decals. Autobot symbol is from reprolabels.
Figure stands 8.5 inches tall and has over 18 points of articulation.

![[1:24 Scale Transformers Movie Mustang Autobot] Here's a 1:24 scale Autobot I created using a 1993 Ford Mustang model kit and a Bionacle and Neo Shifter skeleton.
My brother owned a '93 Mustang and wanted me to build him a movie style Transformer based on his car.
The Mustang model kit was cut up into over 100 pieces, sanded, cleaned, primed and painted and then attached to a modified and painted skeleton made from Bionacles and Neo Shifters.
It does not transformer but it does have over 20 points of articulation.
He stands about 10 inches tall. That would make him nearly 20 feet tall in the real world. Pretty close to the size of movie Bumblebee, I guess.

This figure has been taken apart and completely repainted to better match the look of Ravage in the new Transformers. Based with Tamiya German Gray spray paint. Once the base coat was dry several passes were made with Tamiya Silver Leaf spray paint. Very smooth finish. The figure was then panel lined using Battle Gray acrylic paint and several washes of a mix of Black & Coffee Brown ink washes. More detailing to the metal was done using Steel & Silver paints as well as Alclad Chrome. The gold areas are several thin layers of Copper, Golds and a final wash of Coffee Brown ink. The figure was also given a final coat of lacquer to help preserve the paint job. Paint is durable and the figure can still be transformed.
I have also added a light up eye feature to this figure. The entire inside of the head, neck and torso has been reworked to accommodate the light, batteries and on/off switch. Th](userimages/customs/23000/22559-1.jpg) ROTF Deluxe Ravage |

Spray painted with Tamiya silver, given several ink washed and finally some hand painted detailing.
The only mods I did was to make his head removable like in the movie, swap the arms so they didn't look like they were on backwards and some very minor trimming of the flashing on the head.

I did a little re-sculpting on the hair to add a little length and have it hang down on his face a bit more.
This guy was a real hoot to repaint. The paint job on the original factory release doesn't do the sculpt justice. I hope I managed to capture a little of Heath Ledger's menace as The Joker.
The face and hair were completely repainted and the body has some pretty minor detail work added.

![[1:72 Scale G1 Powerglide] Here's my take on Powerglide. It's a kitbash of a Revell 1:72 scale A-10 Warthog model kit. I also used bits from Bionicle and Stikfas (arms & feet), Games Workshop (details), Marvel Megamorphs (Wolverine hands), some laser etched metal detailing pieces, and a cheapo robot from Walmart (gun). The rest is plasticard (lower legs & faceplate). My main goal was to try and make a TF close to it's G1 self (toy and cartoon as inspiration) using a real vehicle and with as little cheating as possible. Not sure if I was entirely successful, but I had a lot of fun working on it.
It's funny to think of the original G1 Minibot as a real world TF. He would dwarf most of the other Autobots, including Prime.
He does not transform but is very articulated. Try to think of him as a Deluxe Action Master of sorts.
I have a lot more kitbashes in the works. I may get around to making one that actually transforms, but for now I'll probably stick to this maquette style approach.

![[Transformers Movie Swindle] Here's something I've been messing around with for awhile. It's a figure based on the TF movie video game Swindle/Decepticon drone. Made from a 1:24 scale 2004 Pontiac GTO model kit and Legos. Trying to stay as close to the game and toy transformation as possible as well as the overall movie look with a little Alternators flavor thrown in for good measure.
Think of it as a highly detailed Action Master or Movie Robot Replica. Or an articulated maquette.
This figure stands at about 10 inches tall. In 1:24 scale, that puts him at about 20 feet.
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Although it doesn't transform, I wanted it to look like it could. I was hoping to retain a lot of the Swindle toys visual cues while preserving the overall movie robot look with a little boxiness thrown in for old times sake. The over 20 points of articulation make him very poseable too. My goal was to use every piece of the car model kit and I came as close as possible, I think.
