![[Cliffjumper] I was really inspired by Jin Saotome's take on Generations Cliffjumper, and figured that'd be a good project for my first "full-on" Transformers custom.
Pretty much the same recipe as Jin's: Spec Ops Jazz/Wheelie body and a GDO Generations Cliffjumper head. I did the same lower leg reversal mod (which was a bit of a pain, but looks awesome and does a fantastic job of differentiating CJ from the other bots that use the same mold), and gave him a carnival of c-clip and handheld weapons to choose from. For the paint, I used a few coats of Testor's spray enamel, a variety of Testor's acryils for the details, and finished him off with some Testor's spray gloss coat.
Thanks for looking (and to Jin for the recipe!), and feel free to leave comments and feedback. :)](userimages/customs/46000/45688-1.jpg) Cliffjumper Transformersby davejuiceboxI was really inspired by Jin Saotome's take on Generations Cliffjumper, and figured that'd be a good project for my first "full-on" Transfor...3 comments | ![[Dark Knight Rises Nightwing] Ahhh, finally got some time for some customizing, and I'm about...oh, six months late to the "John Blake as Nightwing" party. Nothing too crazy here; DKR Batman body and the head from the TRU-exclusive Nightwing. I brought down the shoulder pads a bit, added some sculpt to fill in some gaps, and did a full repaint in flat black and french blue, completed with a layer of matte spray.

![[Robin] Well, we all saw the gimp Robin that Mattel put out in the Young Justice line, and he had a laundry list of stuff that was wrong with him: big head, no neck, huge arms, and so forth. To fix that, I first did some major facial plastic surgery by shaving down the chin and jaw, then set the head a bit higher on the neck; that alone did wonders for his looks.
From there, I replaced the arms with Young Justice Artemis', sculpted some new shoulders, and sculpted the raised elements on the gloves. Definitely a case of a few minor upgrades making for a much better figure.

First, I've really been digging the onslaught of John Blake customs that have been hitting the realm for the last few weeks, and I've been wanting to do my take on the character. Next, I was a huge fan of the idea that the "other" Batman (the one with the full face mask) in the Target exclusive 3.75" 5 pack was a spoiler, and that style of suit was going to be seen in the TDKR by way of Bruce Wayne being broken by Bane, and a new Batman "rising" in his absence. Finally, I've always loved the DC Superheroes Knight Shadow Batman, and wanted to see what it would've looked like in the Movie Masters style. I mixed all of those ideas together for this concept (based on what I thought was going to happen in TDKR). Thanks in advance for reading and viewing, and feel free to comment!

![[Hawkeye] Big thanks to Eddie Grayce for the inspiration on this one (his looks way better, incidentally)! Pretty easy "instant gratification" custom...Bucky Cap head, body, hands, left arm, and legs, Daken right arm, and various fodder from movie and ML 6 Hawkeye, ML Omega Red, and YJ Red Arrow's...uh, arrows. Left Bucky's knife as a sort-of nod to Toy Biz's first Hawkeye figure from their Iron Man animated line, but in another, more-accurate way, I kept it there out of laziness.
I'm super-pleased with how the mask turned out; I used a plastic bubble from a Marvel Universe figure, cut it to shape, and painted the pieces. The eyes have a really cool lens effect that looks awesome in person.

![[Marvel Universe Classics Wolverine] Dilemma: I wanted a DCUC-style classic Wolverine, but I hate painting yellow. Thank god for Reverse Flash!
His body, arms, and upper legs were combined with the head and shoulder pads from the HML Target series Wolverine. I got the claws from the HML Forge/Wolverine 2 pack, and lifted the boots and belt from a HML Daken.
I'm super proud of this one; the paint job looks soooo clean (although I think the tiger stripes will be a perpetual WIP), the boots are perfect and give some fantastic articulation to the standard DCUC buck, and his height looks great with other DCUC figures (pic added for comparison). I saw a custom on here awhile back that used Winter Soldier to great effect (thanks for the inspiration, escorpcustoms!), so that's exactly where i started.
I dremeled off the buttons and belt from Bucky's torso and the holster/pouch on his legs, then added coats of flat black and a custom-mixed purple all over. I took the arms from Ultimate Hawkeye and xacto'd the biceps to get a little more range, then popped them on Bucky's torso.
