![[Ivy] Here we have a very old resin model that I'm still very happy with. I just thought I would share her with you. I think she was getting a little jealous of all the other figures joining her on the shelf, because the other day she took a header into my desk! Thankfully nothing but the superglue broke!
She came with two sword options. I of course had to do the extended version. I had to had drill each link and glue wire in place. At some point I'd like to revisit her paint job, but for being about 10 years old, she still looks decent.

I've been enjoying some of the new talent we've had recently though.
This figure is what I like to call an extreme experiment. Either it was going to work, or fail miserably.... I was going for the classic 90's Jim Lee style where you couldn't tell if storm was wearing black or white. Painting extreme contrasts SUCKS!!! I started (after many different trials) with a straight white base and built upon that. I laid in the Grey-blue next and finished up with the extreme blacks. Once I had a technique that I liked it went fairly well. Please let me know what you think. There are MAD skills on this site and I'm always looking to improve.
As far as the figure goes, she is a basic Storm with some tweeks. I changed out her fore-arms with an Electra so she could have different hands (Psylockes) The Head and Hair are from an old Storm Fig. Robot fighters I think, and the cape came from a Water-blasting Storm.

The body is just a plain old Psylocke with some light sculpting added.
The Cape is Moleskin spandex w/ sharpie. On the photos it looks really shiny... It's not that bad...
Her head is what I'm most proud of. I took a supergirl (I think) head sculpt from DMC and removed her lower jaw. I added a screaming mouth from an old Hercules snake lady figure.

![[Warpath] I started out with a random wrestler figure. I think it might have been Bastia? I don't follow wresting at all. I picked him up cheap for the size of him. All I remember is that he had purple and black shorts... Anyhoo...
Mostly just a repaint and headswap. Obviously a Doc. Samson head. I used thermoplastic for the fringes again, and found some ball-chain for his belt. Worked out well.
This is my second attempt at Warpath. The first was a straight Doc Samson repaint. I liked the added height that the wrestler gave Warpath. I wanted him more on the size of Colossus.

Another costume for my Jean. I have to say this is my favorite costume for her. Actually this figure is one of the reasons I got into doing customs in the first place. I knew they would never make a decent Jean (Jim Lee style)
I started off with a Storm and cut, yes cut off her legs. This was back before I knew anything about the magical thing that a Hair Dryer will do for you! I did the same with a Wasp for the lower legs. The Arms came from Wasp as well.
Her head is a Hush Poison Ivy with the leaves sanded off. I agonized over this. I love the Phoenix head, but I love the Ivy hair more. I just don't like that she's so expressionless. ![[Nightcrawler] Not a whole lot of customization here, but some hand and feet swap. I was a little disappointed with the original hands and feet. The articulation was nice, but I prefer nice form over being able to move. They are from an old x-men box set that came out years ago. The feet where no problem, but the hands where ridiculously hard for me! The peg holes where backwards and I had to make a new female end in his wrists. Lots of test fitting.
