![[Crossbones] I actually did this one awhile ago, more to see if I could make a figure without sculpting or painting on the figure itself. I was going for a look reminiscent of the Army of Two style armour for ol' Crossbones, with the body armour and mask are made out of foam. The elbow pads came from a WWE figure, I think.
At some point, when I have the time, inclination or sculpting materials, I'm going to do an update to the figure.](userimages/customs/33500/33291-1.jpg) Crossbones Marvel Iconby KarcossaI actually did this one awhile ago, more to see if I could make a figure without sculpting or painting on the figure itself. I shaved the jaw down significantly, using an exacto knife to shave off what needed to be shaved. The tongue I pulled out. Once I had his jaw to my liking, I sculpted his hair and side burns, along with his headbandy-thing. I left the gouges in his face, because I figured it gave him a more enraged look. A few licks of paint and the head was done!
The body is mainly just sculpt; I managed to snap the left elbow spike off, and when gluing it back on, his cut joint got a tat of the glue. I then painted the body orange and brown; and realized the orange was far too bright, I dry brushed yellow over it, and I'm quite pleased with the results. The mane is sculpt with a base coat of grey, then a layer of white, a yellow wash then white and yellow dry brushed over.
Does anybody know why I'm able to only upload one picture when submitting the custom?

![[X-Force Wolverine] After removing the shoulder pads, his was really just a simple repaint. The stripes inside the grey are painted a semi gloss, but the photo really doesn't bring that out.
At some point, I intend to give him metal claws, but I haven't really gotten that far yet.

This custom was one that I was wanting to do for a long time, but didn't trust my abilities at first.
sanded down the DD logo, and used a dremel to drill a hole in his left fist to hold the dirk (which also had the handle sanded down to fit in his fist). His revolver, holster and the submachine gun (not really visible yet, but I'll update later with another pic) I won from a certain website . I used sculpt for the front of his mask, the pouches and to fill in the hole from where I removed the nunchuck holster. To paint the flag, I painted the entire chest area white, then masking taped off the white strips. Then I painted the body blue and red and finally did his eyes last. His red straps are pieces of leather strips painted.

![[Moon Knight] Moonie started life as a yellow Daredevil I picked up on the cheap when I was in Maine.
After shaving off the DD symbol with an exacto knife (somewhat nerve wracking as I kept expecting to feel the blade in my finger tips), I sculpted his mask and the gauntlet/boots. I also sculpted the moon symbol for his chest, because I liked the idea of some depth to the moon.
I then painted the entire figure black before drybrushing white over everything below the neck. I tried several different types of hood; one sculpted and a couple of sewn ones before I finally settled on the one he has. The cape is an old t-shirt that is fasted to the back of the neck with a dab of glue. The hood is a separate piece. He does have a staff made from two chopsticks, as well as another Egyptian type weapon I've seen in the comics (not shown). The sword he has is from a Hot toys Ezio, and is there mainly because I just thought it looked good. This figure started life as an Icons Human Torch. I removed the flames (not as easy as I first thought they would be) and sanded him down before giving him a repaint. There is some glue residue from the flames on his chest, but I thought it looked like some old scaring so I painted over it. The hand flame is recycled from one of his legs, and the coat is from an X2 Nightcrawler.
I didn't have a Dremel at the time, so the coat hides two square pegs on his shoulders from the flames. The F4 symbol circle I felt made a great place to place the pentagram.
I'll be honest here and admit that my wife ended up finishing a lot of the finer detail work on this fella (belt, eyes, lips, symbol) as well as giving him a final paint job.
Anyway, thanks for looking, and I'd really appreciate any feedback you could give!](userimages/customs/31000/30518-1.jpg) Daimon Hellstrom Marvel Iconby KarcossaThis being the first custom I ever started, I figured it would be a good start for my first submission!
