![[Rodimus - Prime] Hello Realmers!
This time around, I decided to do my first attempt at customizing a Transformer. I had purchased a Prime Vehicon on a whim because, as the Prime series goes, this is to me one of the best looking figures. It sat on my shelf for some time when one day it clicked...
This figure is PERFECT as a Rodimus! Other than layer after layer of Testors model paints, the only physical changes I made were carving out a mouth, and drilling holes for the blasters on his arms, which were from some Cyberverse Wheeljack's I picked up on clearance specifically for this. Oh, and the Autobot insignia on his chestplate was cut from an Alternators Smokescrean blaster. Rodimus was one of my most favorite TF's as a kid, and I'm thrilled with how this turned out. Hopefully other fans of his will feel I did him justice.
For those who like backstories, here's how I explain his sharing a common form with half the Decepticon armada:

This figure might look great in a Zero series Mega Man X theme. So I went with it. I don't know how much greatness it has, but I really like the different look it brings to my collection.
No real changes here, except for removing his shoulder pads completely and a full paint job. Even painted the rifle to match him.
Next up, Zero, and maybe one other character if this idea is received well.
Well, hope you like it. As always, I welcome any suggestions or critique.

![[Red Robin (Earth-29)] So I decided to make Tim Drake progress to Red Robin in my Earth-29 story arc, so of course i need a figure for that! This time around I made him a mix of all the features I have liked from his different suits over the years til present. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out.
Base: Robin DCUC YJ. Sculpted down the arms, thighs, abs, and under the arms to give his body the right proportions; sculpted off the buckles entirely; when thinning down the arms, I sculpted so that he has elbow pads.
Head: Tim Drake head from Batman and Son. Sculpted down jawline and sculpted mask. Sculpted up a neck extension for his head to fit good and still retain articulation.
Cape: Robin DCUC. Increased the depth of the scallops.
Arm Straps: Cut from GI Joe harness.
Belt: Robin from that new goofy looking Batman figure line. Not sure what the buckle came from.
Glove armor: Cut from a random Spiderman armor.
Leg Pouches: Large came from YJ Red Arrow; small from GI Joe harness.

![[Red W/ Pikachu] Don't laugh! Admit it, Pokemon is actually a fun game series, and I personally find the manga series was quite good. So I decided to put Red into physical form! Was a relatively easy custom, although most of my pride goes to the Pokedex that opens and closes. Cut up a little of Pikachu's Thunder base to build his Thunder Shock attack on his cheeks.

Hat: random fodder

OF COURSE!" was the immediate thought I had when I first saw the Orange Lantern Lex Luthor DCUC. Then, as per my usual, I forgot all about it. Recently popped into Kmart to look for potential custom ideas and there it was again. Jumped right on it, and here he is in all his "modernized" glory! The blade on his helmet is removable thanks to a pair of magnets. The orb on his chest I am particularly proud of because it is actually clear with yellow paint on the back to give it that glowing look instead of just painting over the surface. The head was hollowed out and attached over the Luthor head to keep the ball joint in use.

![[Tim Drake Robin Young Justice Invasion] Finally decided on what I felt was a good base figure for this project. Didn't wanna' use a DCUC Robin because, lets face it, it's NOT quite right for Tim Drake in ANY form. COME ON DC!!!!
Anyways, so I started with a black suit Spidey from the Spectacular Spiderman animated series. Sanded down off the spiders on his chest and back. Removed the head.I cut pieces of plastic for the chest plates, glove spikes and belt buckle. The "R" is yellow vinyl tape I cut out by hand. The cloth cape is a combination of one from a Batman and one from a Robin. The pouches from a DC Direct JLA Batman and some random Snake Eyes belt. Sculpted the shoe soles. The head came from the new Robin figure that is part of that new kid-friendly Batman figure series. Sculpted the hair WAY down and gave it spikes. Add paint and sealer and we have the newest incarnation of Tim Drake as Robin!
As always, any suggestions for improvement are welcome.

![[Nightwing (Young Justice Invasion)] Greetings Realmers! Here today to join the ranks of YJI Nightwing customs!
Well, this started out as a "black ops" version of Nightwing, but when I saw the first episode of YJI, I immediately decided that i would change direction. And here it is WEEKS later I have finally made enough time to finish up. Gotta say, i LOVE this version of Nightwing!
Recipe:
Base: Nightwing DCUC
Head: ML Ronin alternate head
Sholder Pads: Movie Masters Batman Dark Knight
Belt: Final Fantasy Cloud Strife; pouches are from various Batman figures
Holster: Cut from a cape from my fodder bin
Batons: Electrical wire
Sculpted the gauntlets and boots down to look like the ones depicted in the show. Added small "plates" on the gloves. Rigged the belt and holster (the strap from the belt that goes to the holster is only attached at the ends so that it moves and bends when the leg moves). Head: Robin DCUC
Belt: Multiple Batman belts in my fodder bin
Chest Harness: Various GI Joe straps and pieces
Shoe Tops: Small leather straps
"Feather" Cape: MAAANY strips of craft vinyl cord
Staff: Straitened electrical wire
The chest harness was in itself the most time consuming part, although how to do the cape in the best way was a pretty big hold up. I had the figure finished about a month ago, tried a few different ideas until i decided on the vinyl cord. A few layers of acrylic paint later we have the end result.

![[Red Robin (Tim Drake) V 2.0] This is my second attempt at Tim Drake in his Red Robin outfit. I wasn't quite satisfied with my first one, so I decided to have a second go at it. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product this time!
Recipe:
Body -- DCUC Black Lantern Abin Sur
Head -- DCUC Batman
Forearms -- DCUC Tim Drake Robin
Belts -- DCUC Batman (two different figures)
Cape -- MM Batman (Dark Knight version)
First I removed the head and forearms from the Abin Sur figure, attached the forearms from a fodder Robin figure. Took a Batman head, shaved down the ears and the jaw to resemble Tim's, then attached it to the figure. Used belts from a couple Batman figures for the chest and waist. The boot "armor" was cut from styrene, the chest logo from some plastic. Used a cape from a Movie Masters Dark Knight Batman, with a little extra added from a random cape to make it reach the chest. Used acrylic paints and clear coats. Added a piece of electrical wire for his staff and done!

![[Green Lantern Kyle Rayner ("the Batman")] This was my VERY FIRST custom action figure ever.
Took Bruce Wayne from The Batman cartoon series, removed the head and gave the body a full black base coat. Then taped out the area for green parts and gave a metallic silver coat, then topped with green clear coat (all the painting was done with Krylon Plastic spray paints). Taped off and painted the gloves.
Figure came with a Batman "cowl" so I cut the mask part out and shaved the back part down to fit on the face and attached. Fin.

![[Robin (Earth-29)] Started with the Robin from the Young Justice series. Swapped the belt with a fodder Tim Drake Robin figure. Used black paint on the skin tones on the arms and to make the red draping of his tunic shorter. Repainted belt, knee pads, and palms to a medium charcoal. Replaced head and cape with those from the Tim Drake figure from the DC Direct Batman and Son series. Had to sculpt down the jaw A LOT to get it to actually resemble Drake. Repainted face and modded mask slightly. Final touch was changing his logo from just an "R" to that of Red Robin.
This is a custom design from my own fan-fic (still a work in progress) set in the Multiverse Earth-29. Maybe at some point I can add in the character bios that match my customs.
Hope you enjoy!
