The Technorover fits with the 5,5” Playmates action-figures.
It is made from plastic and cardboard. Partially it is painted, partially covered with a colored paper. The Eye-Ball rockets are fixed on the ramps with a magnetic stripe.
The eyes of the rockets are made from the ball of the roll-on deodorant, the big parts of the drills from the cap of the roll-on deodorant.
The „body“ of the rockets and the middle part of the drills is made of a tube for vitamin capsules.
The Technorover has articulation:
the main gun is movable
the Eye-Ball rockets are movable and detachable

![[Krang with Bubble Walker] This is the customized Bubble Walker with a customized Krang figure inside.
For the Bubble Walker, it was necessary to rebuilt the rear part of the walker, both sides of the view-glass, the front panel for Krang´s tentacles and the bottom of the walker.
After this, I repainted the new walker. I used wood, cardboard and small parts of a pencil and ballpoint pen.
Because I didn´t want to cut in the original Krang figure, I decided to create a custom one. I used crumpled paper fixed with glue for the brain and tentacles and cardboard for the brain-humps. After this I painted Krang´s eyes and teeth.](userimages/customs/38000/37950-1.jpg) Krang with Bubble Walker | ![[Rita Repulsa] Finally, when Bandai decided to do Rita, they produced her in the 4“ series. But nothing to the 6“ and my both Zedds are from this series. So I decided to make my own Rita and this figure fits with the 6“ Lord Zedd. My favorite Rita actress was Carla Perez.
The base figure is Fiona from Shrek and there was a lot of sculpting on this figure. Only head and breasts are from her, the rest is made from cardboard. I had to cut the rest of and cut out the rock from cardboard. I had to re-sculpt her head, too, especially her hair. After that I made Rita´s horny hair (thread winded around fixed paper) and her breast funnels and collar. I also made her sleeves longer.
The putty was also necessary.
This time, the painting was very difficult for me – especially the golden symbols and lines. I had to repaint the face and body and paint the rock.
I added a picture with Zedd, so you can see the lucky couple :-D](userimages/customs/32500/32084-1.jpg) Rita Repulsa Power Rangersby William KirkFinally, when Bandai decided to do Rita, they produced her in the 4“ series. But nothing to the 6“ and my both Zedds are from this series....2 comments |
![[Movie Lord Zedd] Lord Zedd was always my favorite MMPR character, but until 2008, there was no good figure. After they released the TV-Show Zedd, I hoped for a movie-one, too. Nothing happened, so there is my try on him.
There was a lot of sculpting on this figure and it was my first experience with the putty (not putty patrol :-D). I had to re-sculpt the face to be wavier like in the movie (visor, mouth) and to shorten the “Z”.
Then I cut off the original chest armor and created the movie-like one. I used all the cut off parts from the base figure.
Then I re-sculpted his back armor and his spine. There are unfortunately only a few pictures of the back of movie Zedd.
At the end I repainted the armor and his body.
I used original cut off parts, cardboard paper and putty.](userimages/customs/31500/31008-1.jpg) Movie Lord Zedd Power Rangersby William KirkLord Zedd was always my favorite MMPR character, but until 2008, there was no good figure. Some re-sculpting was necessary here: the shoes (his trouser-legs were too long), his t-shirt (the original one was too long, so his belly was not seen) and his mouth (I really hated the stitches on his mouth).
After this, I had to create the belt with the turtle shell (cardboard paper), the band with the bullets (from a paperclip) and the narrow belt that holds the “sword”.
Almost everything must have been re-painted: the shoes (from green to brown), the T-shirt (from black to yellow) and the horns (from violet to white) and the eyes (from red on white to black on yellow) and both wristbands to be true to the cartoon show. The “sword” is the knife, that originally belongs to the Foot Soldier action figure.](userimages/customs/29500/29414-1.jpg) Rocksteady |
![[Shredder´S Transport Module (Finally Complet] "Well, well, Turtles, it´s Shredder time now!"
Finally, I finished the work on this custom. The module fits with the Playmates 5,5”action figures.
I used a cylinder-shaped candy box, two 10 –DVDs cakeboxes, cardboard paper and colored paper. It was hard work for me, because I never made something like this – I never even had ship or airplane model kits, because I didn´t have the patience to put them together. But this module was a challenge :-).
The door is able to open, so you can put the action figure in the module – it is for 2 – 3 figures. The first part with the drill is detachable so you can always get in the module. I plan to do some more interior in the module.](userimages/customs/28500/28193-1.jpg) Shredder´S Transport Module (Finally Complet | ![[Bebop] This is the repaint of the 1991 Playmates Head Spinnin´Bebop with some additional sculpting. I added the two hand grenades, the shoulder bands that „hold“ the shells and the munition band. I cut off the small skulls on his shoulders.
The figure needed repaint: the blue sun glasses, the blue shoes, the band on his thight, the hand wristbands and belt and the yellow skull on his chest. The red weapon on his head also needed a repaint.

![[Foot Soldier] This is a repaint of the 88 Playmates Foot Soldier. I find this figure as the most true one in the TMNT Playmates series. With a repaint it really looks like from the classic TMNT cartoon.](userimages/customs/27500/27098-1.jpg) Foot Soldier | ![[The Shredder] This is the repaint of the Playmates 1988 Shredder. This is my favorite Shredder of the franchise. ![[General Traag - Resculpted] The base figure needed repaint and re-sculpting – especially the head / face and the left foot. Almost all material needed was cut off the original figure and “replaced". I also used putty to soften the cut off snakes, spiders, volcanoes and other rubbish on his face, legs, arms and back.](userimages/customs/27000/26684-1.jpg) General Traag - Resculpted | ![[Shredder] This was my second attempt to improve the original Playmates 88 Shredder. This time I decided for the Shredder from the first TMNT movie. Now I improved his helmet and armor.
For the helmet armor, I used card paper. I also used card paper for the additional spines on his shoulder and leg armor. For the belt I used a leather strip, glued together. After this I re-painted the figure.
I cut out the cape from and old shirt blouse.](userimages/customs/27000/26540-1.jpg) Shredder |
![[Secret of the Ooze Shredder] This is a repaint of the 1988 Playmates Shredder figure with some re-sculpt of the face, helmet and the shoulder and leg armor, so it fits to the Shredder from the second TMNT movie. I also cut off the front part of the chin, what disturbed me on the original figure a lot.
