![[Weapon X Deadpool / Wade Wilson] Weapon X Deadpool
I wanted to make a Marvel Legends style Weapon X style Deadpool . It seems like everyone is making Deadpool customs but none are really unique. Everything looks similar with him in the red costume or him in X-Force gear. So to be different, I went back and made a pre-mercenary Deadpool. He appeared in the comics a few times in this suit, during flashback scenes.
I’ve seen other customs of this costume but wanted to keep him as different as possible. So the first thing was to give him an interchangeable head system. The heads are magnetic, using mini rare earth magnets, and he keeps his range of motion.
After I finished painting his unmasked head, I decided to make an unscarred version based on some of the comic book scenes crossed with Ryan Reynolds who played him in the horrific Wolverine Origins Movie. All three heads are interchangeable and he was given a removable plastic hood that can be attached to the neck when you have him posed with either un](userimages/customs/50000/49706-1.jpg) Weapon X Deadpool / Wade Wilson | ![[Fantastic Four Spider-Man] This was a fodder custom. I had a Spidey head (unknown series) and a Reed Richards body laying around. I was going to make the bag mask Spiderman but hated how he was coming out.
So I just put the head on and did a repaint. I also experimented a little and added magnets to his feet. It satisfied the 13 year old me that wanted a Spiderman, Hulk, Ghost Rider and Wolverine FF to become the regular team.
Thanks for looking.](userimages/customs/50000/49670-1.jpg) Fantastic Four Spider-Man |
![[Iron Man 3 Mark 42 Tony Stark] Someone had to do this one at some point.
Hasbro's version of the Mark 42 suit was too boring. There was no line work in all of the detail and every Iron Man should have a Stark head with it. With the Iron Man 3 Legends movie in the theater we decided to fix those mistakes and make the Iron Man that they should have.
What is he made out of? A brand new Iron Man Mark 42 that is hard to find on the shelves. A custom made and painted Tony Stark head. The head is styled with his Iron Man 3 beard and not the goatee from the first two films. We made the Tony Stark and helmeted heads interchangeable, just by pulling one off and replacing it with the other. No magnets, no boiling, no popping. Just easy.
And c'mon. We just made Tony Stark, who is the coolest guy in the world. He of course has sunglasses that are completely removable.
He was primed using Citadel primer, and painted using Citadel, Model Masters, and other paints. Some areas are glossy, some flat and some are](userimages/customs/49500/49472-1.jpg) Iron Man 3 Mark 42 Tony Stark | ![[Nick Fury] Body- Steve Rogers ROML
Head- Nick Fury (Captain America movie series)
Guns/ ear/mic (fodder box)
A Steve Rogers Marvel Legends figure by Hasbro was the base. The sculpt was great but the paint was horrific. There is a lot of detail hidden in this Hasbro sculpts that just needs the right paint job to make it pop. The buckles are all metallic now and there is a lot of detail added. The facial scars around his eye were painted so that it reflects scar tissue. He was given a earphone communicator like he used in the Avengers movie. Etc...
The rest came together what paint, parts, and weapons. He was primed using Citadel primer, and painted using Citadel, Model Masters, and other paints. Some areas are glossy, some flat and some are metallic. He was then sealed so there would not be any paint rub issues.
He needed weapons so he is equipped with a silver and black handgun semi automatic pistol. He also has a fixed blade knife as sidearm for when you run out of ammo. And lastl](userimages/customs/49500/49412-1.jpg) Nick Fury |
![[Batman beyond Mark I] I was thinking about Iron Man's armors and how each suit improved on the last. It's never complete and he keeps tinkering with the tech to make it better. It was only logical that as Bruce Wayne approached his older years, he would do the same.
It is not quite the suit that we know from Batman Beyond, but Bruce has taken significant steps to protect himself and amplify his strength to compensate for being a little slower, and a little weaker.
The first thing that I thought he'd do would be close off the lower face and give himself more protection. This would also allow for the suit's stealth tech to work better. The tech isnt quite there to include the built in mouth that Terry would get, and it makes him look a little more ninja like.
Next, I figured that after years of adventuring, Bruce is not going to giveup the cape so easily. After all, it cloaks him and works well as a weapon also. Eventually he'd decided to ditch it and build the glider wings under the armpits, but](userimages/customs/49000/48978-1.jpg) Batman beyond Mark I | ![[Slash] I took a Leo base, scuplted the details. ![[Calvin and Hobbes] I love Calvin and Hobbes and it kills me that there are no licensed products. One day I got bored and saw some Disney character customs that were done in a realistic style and the light bulb went off. I wanted to make Marvel Legends style Calvin and Hobbes.
Calvin: He’s a straight up repaint of a Ben 10 figure. Once I saw him I knew he was perfect for Calvin. I wanted to make him look a little older so I went with the teen Ben 10 instead of the little kid one. So he’s wearing a hooded sweatshirt version of his normal shirt. The only modification that was done was that the arms were redone and shortened slightly. Ben 10 looked too lanky for Calvin and I wanted him to look as much like the strip character as we can make him. He was given multiple paint coats and washes to get him finished.
Hobbes: He was the difficult one. I knew that the Sasquatch ML figure would be a good base and I went with that. But I didn’t want to resculpt the entire head to make](userimages/customs/47500/47275-1.jpg) Calvin and Hobbes | ![[US Agent] I started with a US Agent base. I hated the cuffed boots and gloves and wanted to give him a more modern Avengers look. So he needed soldier style boots and gloves. A leg holster was attached to his left leg. Parts were added using sculpting processes.
Next was priming the figure and repaining it from head to toe. He started out as base US Agent but got a flat paint job so that he is not shiny like the factory figure is. The figure was then repainted using Citadel and Model Masters paints. Several layers were applied to make it look the way he does now. Dry brushing and washes were done over top of the paints and Gundam markers were used to make the sculpt pop more. After the paint was completed he was sealed using Citadel sealer so there should not be any issues with paint rub.
So what is a soldier without weapons and just a shield? Boring. So he is now equipped with several. US Agent now has a handgun that is removable from his leg holster. The gun is all black](userimages/customs/47000/46821-1.jpg) US Agent |
![[Punisher Thundebolts Marvel Now] So I made a custom Punisher Thunderbolts custom Marvel Legends 6" scale action figure because Hasbro didnt make the variant that I wanted. I wanted the figure to represent the Punisher as he appears in the new Marvel Now Thunderbolts comic. All of the team wears red and black and the Punisher is no exception. So he got a complete repaint head to toe. The head was repainted in various flesh tones to represent a real human face and not the one single flesh color that Hasbro molded it in. His bear stubble was added and is more realistic than the black dots that they had. This looks like five o'clock shadow facial hair.
Next we lost all of the white in the suit and repainted everything black. He needed to look more stealthy for black ops missions. The skull and belt were repainted blood red. His gloves were painted solid black, as were his boots. Shading was done by adding highlights, washes, and drybrushing. Frank's coat is removable and he looks good with or without it.](userimages/customs/46000/45577-1.jpg) Punisher Thundebolts Marvel Now | ![[Metalhead] I used a regular Metalhead and repainted it head to toe using Citadel paints and sealed it. The paints are all metallics to look more robotic. Washes were done to simulate metal in a wet environment like a sewer and hes covered in rust. The arm was reworked to include magnet in the hand instead of that hole and lame fireball. The fire was replaced with an electric bolt that is removable. He was also give a two edge throwing blade weapon with a magenetic attachment that links to his hand. Lastly one of the extra minja stars I had laying around was made magnetic and also can stick to this hand.

The figure was primed and repainted from head to toe. I went with a black primer and added different levels of metallic paint over the parts that show Piotr Rasputin's organic metal skin. There are hints of dark grays and gun metals, that are at the base with a silver metallic finish with a drop of blue shading. The red's were redone and made darker to reflect the mood of the comic. The yellow colors were made more of a non metallic gold color to not detract from the silvers.
After it was painted the entire figure was drybrushed and recived a black wash, and lined with Gundam markers to make the details pop. All Citadel paints and sealers.
It came out okay. I like the Gundam markers. The lining makes the details stick out and give the figure a feeling like it walked off the page of a comic rather than a figure. Kind of a cool change of pace.](userimages/customs/42500/42216-1.jpg) Colossus |

I always thought that the buccaneer boots and flared gloves didn't work with a modern Captain America. This guy is supposed to be fighting terrorists.
