Not a very sophisticated version...no bells and whistles (or should I say 'Bat'-bells or 'Bat-whistles')...just a very simple recipe:
Upper body: All ML Taskmaster. Removed chest plate, filled the holes and re-sculpted chest. Sculpted bat symbol kind of old school design. Trimmed down gloves. I was in the process of adding the blade things to his gloves but ran out of time
Upper Legs: ML FaceOff Daredevil
Lower Legs: Tasky
Boots and belt buckle: Ml Ult Cap
Cape: Modded Arkham City Batman
Head: Sculpted cowl over Young Justice Red Arrow
After this posts, going back to mold and cast the hip, elbow and shoulder joints to avoid paint rub. Also working on a wire cape idea that I've seen used by other customizers here.

![[Spider-Man - Final Version] Ok, I promise this is my last attempt at this...But to me, my finally attempt was the closest to what I originally was aiming for.
I think that this is my best version of the neck mod out of all of my previous tries. Just getting the parts, functionality and sculpt the way that I wanted.
Just like previously, I used a neck with swivel from donor figure. I shaved down that piece until all I had left was the swivel and two pieces of plastic on each side for the swivel to sit in. I then cut down the Spider-Sense figure neck to a level that would not show too much of my sculpt, but would still be strong enough to support the new swivel. I then grinded down a groove for the wheel to fit in snugly but move freely. Finally, I covered, sculpted and blended in the new neck continue the existing pattern of web lines. I tried to ensure that the swivel could still have flexibility and stability, but also not make the neck too thick or too tall.

For the head, was my first time making a mold and casting. I used McFarlane Spiderman.
I borrowed the lower arms and hands from the same McFarlane Spidey.

Now they dont stick out as much and are closer to his head. I also sculpted a closed mouth expression vs the open snarl for a different look. I added ears and left the eyes white, both features which I like but are not part of the traditional look. Finished with several coats of white, then aluminum colored paint for the mask.

![[Amazing Spider-Man V3.5] I improved my previous recipe and did many changes to eliminate paint rub. Used a Spider-sense Spidey figure then spliced the neck and head of a Battle Attack Spidey. I then replaced the painted hip joints that were made of red plastic with blue rings from a Spectacular Spiderman animated figure. That same figure also donated blue pegs to replace the red pegs to help match even more. I dremeled down the double jointed knee rings then covered the peg holes w epoxy. I was going to do the arm holes too but like that it makes it still look like a toy. Finally, I painted over all of the black paint with traditional Spidey blue (It was a little disappointing to see that there was already a blue/red version of this guy in a two pack w Doc Ock!). I left the red cause it already had a good wash over it and just touched up some areas.

After I removed the original Spidey head which had a very crude swivel and no ball joint, I could have easily gone the route of cutting and glueing on the replacement head with its neck. But, I wanted to get more articulation so that Spidey could look up and down a little more for when he did his crawling poses. So, I dremeled in a slot and the inserted a shoulder ring from an old donor Spidey, cut it down to fit, then drilled holes through both sides of his neck to fit a "pin" through and allow the rotating movement. Unfortunately, my ideas for what I would use fell through. The hole in the middle of the joint was too big. I was getting upset with the idea that I wasted a perfectly good figure on this project. ![[Hulk V3] I know some may think this is a downgrade from the previous sculpt, but I didn't feel like the figure was complete. My kids suggested I should go for something in between my first two versions, something in half cartoon and half movie version.
So I did another re-sculpt then modded out his jaw and neck to allow him to fully open his mouth to ROAR. I used a shoulder joint from and old ML Doc Ock for the neck joint so that now it has great range of motion. I also used one of Doc Ock's feet joints for the Hulk's lower jaw and sculpted in the features including the teeth. It gives another option and he can clench his teeth like he is about to roar! I also gave him swivel wrists so he can hit more Hulk poses.
Also by advice of my kids, I repainted him almost back to his original factory colors. This was a surprise to me, since we just saw the Avengers and that Hulk is a lighter shade of green! Then, as I began to modify the expression on his face, I had a really bad mess up and had to dremel down the whole mouth area and completely re-sculpted it.
Next, I cut down the wrists to shorten the arms and added the DCUC fists. I cut the claws off of the back of the original hands and shaved them down to glue to backs of DCUC fists. I had to trim and re-size a few of the claws because they were different sizes. I also had to straighten them, so heated them, shaped them, then ran under cold water to hold. 2003 Roaring Hulk- Movie Figure
Original head sculpt
Bought this figure with its head missing for $1 at a local toy show. I thought I would give a shot at making a head from scratch. I used an old Batman/Superman Composite head since it was about the right size and cut it off at the base of the neck. Then I fused the neck to the Hulk body. There was a jaw moving lever that I tried to use but was unsuccessful. This figure does not have an ab crunch and has holes in his abs but thats ok with me because the voice mechanism still works and he can ROAR! (maybe I'll try to make alternate head with open mouth)
I added a pic with Spidey and Cap to show scale. It isn't as huge as the MS Hulk but I think it looks ok.
I will be improving the neck joint, adding swivels to the wrists, and evening out the paint.
The head looks a bit cartoonish to me but it seems to fit with my other figures. Maybe I'm starting to develop my own signature style like you guys!
