huff, huff... glad i was able to finish this in time...
The Classic Turtles need a Shredder to fight!
My goal was to match the line in scale and style
Playmates went for a different scale then what we are used to, when you see these figures in person, they're massive, and i wanted to have the same feeling with Shredder
So I sculpted everything over a UFC/WWE base figure
Blades made individually in plastic card then sculpted over, one by one, all 36 of them >_<
I gave him a personalized base(cast - no turtle base was harmed)
2 set of hands (fists and holding)
his communicator(so he can talk to krang in dimension x)
and a sword i've had in my fodder for ages, that i always felt was very technodromical, with the handle remade for Shredder to be even more ninja!(i have no idea where it came from, but if i didn't use it now...:)
Thanks for viewing! I hope the style is appreciated by the fans of the original cartoon! :)

![[Michaelangelo and Klunk 1985] 27 years ago in December Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird under Mirage Studios released a one issue micro series titled, 'Michaelangelo Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in "The Christmas Aliens"'. It was a Christmas story focusing on Michaelangelo. (!spoiler of the story until next paragraph!) The story goes like this; Mikey is on a stroll to get some fresh air and to take up some sights in a snowy Christmas-y NYC evening. As Mikey is walking around he notices a lost little kitty cat in the middle of a snowy park. Mikey instantly adopts the lil guy and names him Klunk. With his new friend Klunk, Mikey continues his journey and comes across a nifty toy store. Mikey being the awesome guy that he is has to check out the toys. While in the empty store Mikey goes around back and stumbles on to some crooks robbing the stores shipment of that years hot holiday toy, The "Lil Orphan Aliens". -Upper body - Ben10 Ripjaws
-Lower body - Grendel's Mother
-Legs - Redakai Gold Bruticon
-Backpack, right chest piece, gill covers and metal 'drawers' are parts from different figures. Water hoses are from a translucent plastic bracelet. 'Gill covers' connect to Fishface's gills by plugging in through the use of glued-on tacks (the covers are removable).
-The back of his metal 'drawers' have two guns that swivel underneath his groin for a surprise attack from below. This was sort of a happy accident and I decided to keep them as an added feature for my rendition of Fishface. The pic of Fishface with his gills uncovered shows the 2 guns in attack mode.

He turned out taller than I expected. But that's okay as in the new Nick cartoon he appears to be taller than the turtles. I think he goes well with either the new Nick TMNT figures or the new Classics TMNT figures.

![[Leonardo] I remember going and seeing the first TMNT movie when it came out and thought it was awesome. I liked the realistic look they had on the sliver screen and after seeing some of the recent cool interpretations of some even more realistic turtles like the way REBNOR did his, Pulpyfiction, G-Brands original takes and some of the great repaints that have been produced I did some research and came up with a cool concept statue I saw and thought I would try and incorporate it into a figure.
Recipe:
The new 7" Playmates Leonardo TMNT figure
Lower legs was a WWE DELUXE AGGRESSION figure and the kneepads also
cut and spliced in the feet with some dow rods
removed the belt and sheaths harness and redid those with some craft leather/suede
resculpted over the whole figure and detailed the skin texture
sculpted him a little tail which wasn't on the factory figure
added some paint and he's ready for the sewers!

About the custom:
- The head was fully sculpted from scratch same as hands and feet, I think they look very well, chest and shell were sculpted too, all made with epoxic clay.
- A mixture of wwe action figures were used as base body and shaped in a semi-static posture, in fact this Mike is a semi-statue and since this figure will be displayed over a shelf then it's ok, thats why I shaped him on an action posture which looks great if he holds his nunchakus or if he rides his skate board.
- Belts and nunchakus holsters were made with fake leather straps.
About the accesories:
- The nunchakus were made using som plastic stick and a real chain.
- The Pizza box is totally handmade using cardboard and handpainted too.
- The Pizza was made using epoxic clay and handpainted too.
- The Skateboard is from the dollar store :)

![[Retro Shellraiser] While I thought the Shellraiser was cool in its own right, it didn't do much for me in terms of TMNTdom. It felt more like Road Warrior or like the bus from Borderlands.
This all sprung to mind when I noticed the top door was pretty much in the same position as the spoiler on the Party Wagon. So I took what was stand-out about the Party Wagon, mainly the garish coloring, and tried to apply that to how I felt each piece of the Party Wagon would be represented on the Shellraiser. Part of me really wanted to detail the whole thing for realism, but the original plan was to keep it fairly plain like the Party Wagon and I think I did alright in sticking to that plan.
Recipe is pretty simple, a Shellraiser, WWF manhole lid in the front, PC keyboard keys for the tenderizer part of the orange door, and a whole lot of paint. This is my version on Casey Jones. As you can see I've changed his sportive look a little, I've added working boots and pants and only the shirt has a sportive touch.
What I've tried is to give Casey a little more realistic, aggressive and menacing look, don't know if I did it but I'm very very happy with the end results.
About the recipe:
Head: Mattel WWE John Morrison a. I've sculpted hair and mask, btw, I love how the mask looks like.
Upper body: Mattel WWE John Morrison. The shirt was fully sculpted with epoxic clay.
Upper legs: Mattel WWE John Cena. Sculpted at bottom legs.
Lower legs: Mattel WWE don't-remember-who. XD
The bag pack is made of fake leather.
The weapon set was made as follows; baseball bat made of epoxic clay, Hockey stick and palette were made from a piece of DVD case, golf stick made with epoxic clay and a lego little bar.
I've added the some blood splattered effect.

Of all the new TMNT figures April seemed to be the least "on model" with the show. I tried my best to sculpt the most accurate likeness I could using screen grabs from the show. The head is made from beige Sculpey III (the opaque beige color makes it a little easier to see fine details while you're sculpting, as opposed to the semi-translucent Super Sculpey). I actually stuck the head on the body while it was still soft to ensure a snug fit on the ball-joint, then I carefully (very carefully) removed it from the body and baked it to the proper hardness. Her ponytail is a separate piece since I was worried such a flimsy part would break off too easily. It's pegged in to a little hole in the back of her head and is totally durable. Specifically, these robotic arthropods are found in Scene Six: "Let's Defeat The Enemy's Ninja Magic!!", which, confusingly enough, is actually level nine.
While their pincers may look fearsome, Venoms never employ them in battle. Instead, the machine relies entirely on its ball-jointed tail for all of its offensive needs, either impaling opponents with it or firing off searing beams from the laser blaster concealed inside the pointed tip. During volume 4 of the comic and the 4Kids cartoon (both which were being released around the same time), this theme was amplified tremendously. The most prominent of which was Silver Sentry, Michelangelo's favorite hero in the 2003 series. He was pretty much the TMNT version of Superman in many ways.
