![[Arez' Ant-Man] AREZ’ ANT-MAN DOB 4/28/13
-WOW!!! This Ant-Man has been in my to do list since 2006 and I finally got it done, but it’s for a very good and special cause. A customizer’s fiancé was diagnosed with cancer for the second time and we all came together in Facebook to make customs to sale and all the money will go for the treatment. I hope this boy makes enough money. I HATE CANCER…
RECIPE:
-AXM Cyclops as base.
-Black_Arachins Ant-Man’s cast.
-LOTR Boromir’s hands .
-Epoxy sculpt for chest design, ribbing on gloves, arms and legs.
-Bead cord.
-Small crew and small magnet for the head to sit right.

![[Marvel Zombies Giant-Man] Here's the big centerpiece to my Marvel Zombies set. I knew if I was going to create the main cast I HAD to make Giant-Man or it wasn't worth attempting. He's such a major character in the story, he had to be done. After weighing the pros and cons of using Marvel Universe 12-inch Giant-Man or Black Goliath, BG won out. At the time I got the figure, Black Goliath was both easier to find, and far more inexpensive to purchase, as the secondary market price on Giant-Man is nuts. Also, I figured Ben Foster's head was a lot easier to mod into the classic Giant-Man head. For the most part, he's a repaint with modding to the head. the antennae are custom sculpted, as well as his belt.](userimages/customs/44500/44348-1.jpg) Marvel Zombies Giant-Man Marvel Universeby GDXHere's the big centerpiece to my Marvel Zombies set. Remove his ears, mouth, and nose. Use wires for the antennas. I made a semi-classic design mask, now it looks like a gas mask with antennas because of the circle-thing on his mask. ![[Avengers Movie Style Ant-Man] Ant-Man & Wasp are 2 characters I've been wanting to tackle for awhile now. I had both of these in parts to be made into comic versions but decided to go with possible movie costumes had they appeared in the Avengers movie. I really wish they would have considering they were 2 of the original founding members, but they weren't ... at least Ant-Man is getting a movie so more than likely we'll get to see Janet and hopefully Ultron will get in there too. Anyways onto the figures:
Ant-Man
Helmet head: Hasbro tech armor black spiderman (with sculpt inside for filling & antennas attached)
Unmasked: Harvey Dent (untouched, looked good enough as is for what I wanted)
Base: TDK Batman (sanded, smoothed, then sculpted new chest piece, & filled in shoulder & back holes)
Forarms: Batman Begins
Hands: TDK Batman
Ants from dollar store and everything else came from fodder

heres my MU Ant-Man repaint.
not much here, it was fading so i redid the paint (even the Hank Pym head). The only thing i painted differently was the Helmet so it would match my other Ant-Men (suggested to me by fellow realmer "HisDivineShadow"). If you look at my previous submission it had a grey helmet, and here i gave it silver paint.

This is the second for today, finished just a bit ago here comes the great ANT-MAN. I like the fact that this one can be used for display with marvel legends and marvel universe figures. The hardest thing was the helmet for sure; it gave me a hard time to achieve such uniformity on all sides on the design, besides having to make it was removable. But the results make me so happy. The entire figure was painted, the head I only did a retouch in the hair and eyes.

![[Ant-Man] Hey guys!
heres my Ant-Man figure haha
Backstory:
You guys know the show "Avengers Earths Mightiest Hero's"? Well when i first saw the show Ant Man was my automatic favorite and i wanted an ant man toy. With the desire of an ant man in mind i searched ebay for a MU scale fig (i got into MU before ML haha, ya I'm a new(ish) collector for ML) When i finally found one it turned out to be a custom... but with it being a custom the price was freakishly high. So i decided to make my own! hence why i am now a customizer haha. This is actually my FIRST custom made a few years ago.
My Ant Man is made out of a multiple man figure. His Hank Pym head is the Superhero Showdown Mr. Fantastic (which can be used also for the yellow jacket figure). His Helmet is totally sculpted and the antennas are the twist ties we get from figures with a little sculpt on the top. One paint job later and we have an Ant Man

I call this version Giant-Man because the Thing gave him that name during MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE #55, when he had changed into this new costume, although I do like the name Black Goliath better. Used the WWE 12" Bobby Lashley and figured out the head didn't work good, so I remembered STEVID had made one of these a time or two(8 or 9 but who's counting??), so I went to the FR archives vault and seen his recipe for a Chris Jericho head, which works perfectly and is even a close match to the 7.5" one I had made using a Kane head. Anyways, I sculpted the boot cuffs, the gloves (used Hulk hands), filled in joint holes, and sculpted the shirt lines. The laces were thumb tacks and rubber bands. The belt is heavy craft foam. I primed this with grey vinyl paint, then put a base coat of blue plastic paint for the pants and gloves, then a mix of the blue plastic paint and white for the white parts. I had made him back in 2007 and last year it was being sold online by the owner of it, who said he was downsizing and had a few other Black Goliaths and Giant-Men. I think mine looked pretty good, but after getting it back, I saw that it didn't hold up too good, especially with that gloss sealant I put on it, not knowing any better at the time. I can't remember who recommended that bs from wal-mart in the craft section in a blue and black can(Patricia Nimocks acrylic craft sealer) but that s**t made the arms on this figure really sticky. The rest of the figure was ok, just the arms and they had collected a lot of dust. Well, it was nothing a simple repaint couldn't handle, but after seeing that I figured I might as well do a full relaunch and re-did the boots and the gloves, the belt, the chest and sculpted some afro even! So, enjoy the 2 comparisons, sometimes it's good to be able to go back and get a mulligan every now and then! ![[Ant-Man (Eric O'grady)] Alright, so this is my first custom and first time using apoxie sculpt, I've never even done a repaint, but overall I'm pretty happy with it :)
The recipe: a punisher figure from super hero showdown series, cut off all of the dangly bits and dremeled out the face.
The entire head is custom sculpt and was insanely difficult to do at this scale (I may eventually re sand the face and smooth it out a little but it still looks pretty dope)
The shoulder pads, chest armour and jet pack are all made from scratch using aves apoxie.
The helmet is from a luke skywalker figure and has been modified sanded and sculpted with apoxie and is removable (antenna are just painted paper clips :)
Paints were a mix of citadel's and tamiya's The paint job is pretty straight forward, I may dry brush a lighter red eventually but I'm satisfied with it.
I really enjoyed making this and I'm definitely hooked. ![[Zombie Giant-Man] He's come to eat your flesh, but is going to have to bend down to get it! Yes, it's Zombie Giant-Man from the Marvel Zombies series.
ZGM was made from a BAF Giant-Man with most of the work done to his face. I removed his face from just below the nose down and rebuilt it with the sculpted zombie look and incorporated a hinge underneath so that his mouth can open and close.
Hot glue was then used in the back of his mouth, and a little running down his chin, then painted with Tamiya Clear Red to get the blood effect. All of the blue on his costume was replaced with black and several black washes were slopped on to give him a dirty effect. A final paint job of some Tamiya Clear Red was spattered over the white parts of him.
A late addition to him was his removable cranium. I cut through the top of his head and hollowed out the cap and part of his head, sculpting in the brain matter, and again adding some hot glue for the blood.
