![[Bonebreaker (Reaver)] Inspired by Uncanny X-Men #281, I've always wanted to make this villainous group of cyborgs.
What can I say... The most fun part here?
Combining an upper torso to a TANK!!! This guy really defines who the Reavers are! A band of bad guys who've made the decision to not just be evil, but deadly!
I like to think that the Reavers are to the X-Men, what the Dreadnoks are to GI Joe. They're just wicked-cool, and don't mind getting their hands dirty. I wanted to show that here by giving him a lil' wear and tear to his lower half.
Sanded off features from the original base character to prep, sculpey for the hair and shades. Left over pegs from a "build it yourself" shelving kit for missiles.
Complete repaint and dry brush technique using Hobby Lobby water-based paints. Then clear coat Matte-finish spray paint to protect and give it a more "new figure look". And now the Reaver family gets just a little bit bigger!
I hope you enjoy! Thank you!](userimages/customs/48000/47618-1.jpg) Bonebreaker (Reaver) Marvelby GridagentInspired by Uncanny X-Men #281, I've always wanted to make this villainous group of cyborgs.

and another Reaver was again. This time is the most famous of them, Crush Bones ... impossible not to remember someone who has a tank instead of his legs. It is very nice to stay testing the parts and making them fit. I'm sad because there are just a few members of reaves.
The coolest part was collecting scrap and stubble and to make bionic parts ... Fire Extinguisher seal, seal tag garment, silicone wire and other junk were used to make the casings bionic. The toy tank was found almost by accident in a popular shop ...
The head was slightly redesigned with the removal of the hair, sculpting the shape of the skull and slight reshaping of the nose. Mohawk made ??of epoxy. The glasses were made ??of plastic blister. By setting the shoulder was not possible to shoulder tattoo, which really gave me a lot of frustration. The hair was painted with 3 shades of gray, metallic effect applied in the gut and body in 2 shades, using drybrush.

This is another oldie but goodie. I hope to someday complete the Reavers. I got a couple more old school X-Men comic to get through until I make it to that storyline. This was always one of my favorite 5" figure though. Plus it gave me a chance to try my hand at painting a tank. Found a T-100 on clearance and figured it be the perfect tank bottom for Bonebreaker. I took the machine guns off the arms of the Terminator and reattached them to the tank, feeding the ammo into the back. Changed Wonder Man's head and hands for Bullseye's head and gloves. Sculpted over Bullseye's mask and created a mohawk out of bits of Jean Grey's hair. The connection to the tank was made out of a bunch of different fodder bits of wire and such. The glasses were stolen from Doc Ock, and the spine was made from a piece of Doc Ock's tentacle. Uzis pulled out of the fodder bin as well. I left off the straps that appear on his uniform usually, feeling they made him look too constrained. Gave him a nice gritty paint job, and the first Reaver is complete.

![[Bonebreaker] My second custom figure is the new and improved Bonebreaker. I've always been a big fan of the Reavers and Bonebreaker was my favorite but something always bothered me about him. The Reavers were supposed be super-advanced cyborgs but Bonebreaker could be defeated by simple stairs. So I made mine with tank treads that can be converted into legs. This way he can traverse any terrain.
Recipe:
Lex Luthor head (wanted him to look crazy cause he was always the craziest reaver)
He-man torso and arms
Armada transformer(sorry can't remember his name) was the tank part
Cybornetic backpiece is destroy droid
Shades from XMC Rogue
Any suggestions or comments are highly appreciated.
I do have a suggestion for this website though, I think there should be a way to vote customs into a Hall of Fame type section. My vote goes to Loosecollector's new Sabertooth. The Reavers are best know for their stint in the pages of X-Men during the X-Men's time in the Australian outback.
Bonebreaker himself is not only a heavy weapons expert, but a heavy weapons platform as well. His lower half has been removed and replaced with a tank like set of treads that carry an abundance of weapons.
Bullseye donated his upper body to the cause of creating Bonebreaker. He features a sculpted mohawk and custom removeable shades cut from some plastic packaging and a harness made from a metal ring and bits of rubber door seal. His harness is a separate piece and not directly attached to his body!
His treads were a 1/32 scale tank, sorry I don't recall the model. The turret was removed and his connection stalk was installed. Additionally, an articulated (2 rotating joints!) disruptor cannon sits over the back of his treads.
