![[Captain America Jango Fett] Come on you had to see this coming! :-) Since Disney now officially owns Starwars and Marvel I thought for sight unseen creating a combination of two iconic characters. One obvious combo would be Vader and Capt. But after seeing the Marvel Halo combos I thought instead of Boba or Jango to make a Capt since I thought the armor would work better. So at a recent toy show I picked up a Jango instead of Boba and got to work.
The Jango I got was the final battle with a head that falls off so I wind up just gluing the head so yeah loss of articulation there. I then repainted the entire blue part of the figure with a brighter metallic blue including his helmet then went over the silver pieces with more metallic silver paint. I then painted the ganlets and boot tops red and the last part the wings and an "A" on his helmet its kind of crooked.. Neh. Lastly the front was painted white then red stripes drawn on and a white star glued to his chest. The shield (not pictured)is from the a](userimages/customs/47500/47145-1.jpg) Captain America Jango Fett Marvel Universeby RogueCome on you had to see this coming! :-) Since Disney now officially owns Starwars and Marvel I thought for sight unseen creating a combination of two ...2 comments | ![[Jango Fett Mega Bloks Custom] Halo Spartan head modified. ![[Jango Fett] Before there was Boba there was Jango…… well you know what I mean.
Actually when my 6 year old came to me with his favourite toy broken I told him not only could I fix it, I would make it better for him. I’ve never worked with this scale before and it was a nice change up. Base figure is the Jango Fett that came with the blue poncho thingy and removable armour. Lower arms are from a random Snowtrooper and new magnetic jetpack (original one got lost) comes from a Clone Wars Anakin figure. I received my instructions on color and where to paint and got to work.
By the time you get to see the pics, Mr. Fett will have had plenty more play miles on him. Hope you like and

The rest of the outfit is made using, metallic silver cardboard, painted vinyl, glue, then some sewing. The scar was drawn on of course and his hands painted and sealed. It took a bit to get everything done but he came out pretty good. ^^](userimages/customs/30000/29617-1.jpg) Jango Fett Bratz Star Wars Clone Warsby RogueMy brother gave me a bag of left over Jango Fett accessories so I decided to make a Jango bratz using them. the gauntlets, helmet, backpack, and guns ...9 comments |
![[Jango Fett Halo 3 Style] PALS!
Something from my Halo 3 series. I made a Vader many moons ago and just made another recently. I wanted a Fett to go with him, and opted for Jango. I cut the helmet and sculpted a more Mandalorian style mask on him, complet with targeting rod-sadly it doesn't move. I sliced thin the chest armor to make it flat and thin enough to sculp onto without the end result being too bulky. Next I sculpted the chest armor from photos to get the feel. I painted the figure flat balck, and then began painting the separate armor plates shades of dark blue, and light blue, a bit of purple wash, and flat aluminum on specific armor plates.
His belt pouches are the cut up skull chest piece from a marvel legends Punisher figure. The guns are two Halo 3 guns cut to fit. The jet pack is a G.I. Joe back pack with cut missles from the dart toys the Joe figures come with glue onto it.

After seeing Porkchop's version of Jango Fett, I wanted one immediatley!
I re-painted the base figure a darker blue and gave the armour a coat of boltgun metal. The gauntlets were the trickiest part - The Jango Fett did not come with any (Cheap skates!)I used a set from Boba Fett, and hollowed them out with the use of a dremmel and scalple blade.
His chest armour, backpack, helmet, gauntlets and blasters are all removable and the figure now has fantastic articulation without any paint rub! I think those words haven't been recognized enough, so this figure is in commemeration of them. But I LOVED the "Open Season" book, so this figure is to what Jango looked like then. But it was simple once I bought the figure.
