![[Mr. Fantastic] A new challenger approaches!!!!!
I pretty much took a Mr.Fantastic and gave him bendable arms an updated paint job. I preferred the black/blue outfit to the white/blue. I also sculpted the fist mallet onto the bendy arms. The bendy arms were made out of Bendable Sculpty cured with a wire inside to keep its form. Simple custom but I like how he turned out.
See you next mission....](userimages/customs/44000/43841-1.jpg) Mr. Fantastic Marvel Universeby Narpa SwordA new challenger approaches!!!!!

I wanted mine to be slender and tall, athletic but not too buff. While I've seen a few done before, the medium size buck from Mattel would have been just a bit too much for Reed, IMO. I swapped out the T-rex forearms with a set from Spectre-his open hand as well, fist from Dr. Midnight and a new set of feet from Nightwing. The head was a cast from DMC. I also imbedded magnets into his arm and limbs so I could swap out the ML hand to give him his trademark stretch look. The only thing is, its a bit too heavy for the figure to stand on its own, so over the head it must be.
Anyways, thanks for looking, feedback always appreciated. Group shot included, so feel free to check out my submissions of Johnny and Sue as well.](userimages/customs/38000/37884-1.jpg) Marvel Universe Classics Mr. Fantastic D.C. ![[Mr. Fantastic (Future Foundation)] I made a team set of the new FF in their Future Foundation duds. ![[Zombie Mr. Fantastic] This was an extensive custom. the figure was cut apart and 2part green vinyl was used to create midsection. I molded the putty around wire piping so that the figure could still be bent like the original accessories. The stretchy hand was carved out of the exsisting rubber and painted. the face was created by removing the lower jaw using green putty to elongate it. the teeth and gums were all carved using a knife. the eyes were ground out using a grinding ball with my dremel. the figure was primed and painted using citadel miniatures paints, sealed with a testors dullcoat.](userimages/customs/23500/23360-1.jpg) Zombie Mr. Fantastic Marvel Legendsby PAINTcustomsThis was an extensive custom. the figure was cut apart and 2part green vinyl was used to create midsection. ![[Reed Richard (Mr. Fantastic) and Sue Storm] The Mr. Fantastic wasn't really that bad for a movie edition figure. However it was incredibly too short in the abdomen area. The neck no longer retracts. I made the cut a little above the waist, then hot glued a board into the bottom section. The board almost completely filled up the space availible. Then I glued the other half of the figure onto the other half of the board. Then apoxied over it all. The rest is repaint. The Sue Storm is also all repaint.
