Also, among the Legion of Doom figures I own, Star Sapphire already took up the "magenta" bit of the Spectrum of Evil™. So I decided to make him blue, with a few costume details inspired by the "ice skater costume" briefly worn by Aquaman (another DC hero he's squared off against).
Base coat is a navy blue, with collars, gloves and boots in metallic black. I decided to make three big stripes: one across his chest and two on his thighs. The white initially was problematic because it kept mixing with the light blue, but I eventually managed to get it to work. I added a touch of white on his fin based on the white-tipped shark.
A simple repaint, but I think it worked out in the end. Let me know what you think!](userimages/customs/48000/47611-1.jpg) Shark D.C. So I took Marvel Legends Venom (the one with the scorpion tail), added the head from an old King Shark toy from a DC 2 pack that came out about a decade ago (luckily it is separate piece from the body popped right off after some time in boiling water), used some sculpty to combine it to Venom then got to painting. I've had it in my mind for a long time to make King Shark, but always figured Mattel would get around to him eventually. But now that over-sized figures are no longer an option for retail or their subscription, now seemed like the right time to try him. But first I had to muster up the courage to sculpt the head. I'd never sculpted anything that large. Usually I'll do accessories, or a cowl, but I'd never tried sculpting a complete head from scratch.
So King Shark's head is 100% hand-sculpted a top a Green Lantern Classics Arkillo torso. The teeth are just cut from plastic clamshell. The head took several tries (he started out looking more like a turtle, but through several reworks I think I captured his Secret Six appearance).
The arms are also modified from Arkillo, while the legs came from Validus with an extra toe sculpted in the middle.

![[Great White Shark Dark Knight Series] Along with the new criminal aristocracy in Gotham there is a new 'blue collar' class of mobster. Great White Shark is at the top of this pyramid, steadily gaining a foothold on the turf war in Gotham. I researched what shark skin suits and shoes looked like and replicated them for Shark's attire. His mask is modeled after the WWII shark paintings pilots used to adorn their fighters with, and check out his eyes, black as a shark! He also comes with his favorite weapons, a pair of throwing knives.
He was a DK Joker and Sportsmaster head, with a custom paint job.

I started with the SMC stealth venom then dremeled down the neck a lot until a modified ML3 wolverine head was able to fit into the neck piece. I sculpted the arm spikes and made the fin out of a juice carton then repainted the whole thing, giving the black a purple dry brush to finish it off. I'm still on my fist year of customizing at the age of 14 so comments or advice are very much welcome.

I based the design off of the Double Z version of the character, but added a stylistic flavor to it. Which is why the ink lines are a bit messy and such, but I feel that it gives the character justice. I believe it's the first time he has been made into an action figure (at least, of my knowledge).
The majority of it is sculpt. The head, the feet, the arms are sculpted, and the scarf was made from a white t-shirt that I painted and superglued to the neck/head portion. The scarf itself is rather stiff, but it keeps it's shape too.

I got an extra Bulldozer due to the very close matching Orange colors & I wanted my TS to be in proper scale, around the 6'6 hgt. I boiled & with the help of a small screwdriver, popped off both upper torsos & swapped Tigershark's upper body onto Bulldozer's lower body. I also swapped out Tiger shark's legs from the knees down onto the BD buck. I also gave him a Frost Giant's left hand as it was more claw like. So the only thing I really had left to do is re-paint his bluish colors Black & add some tiger stripes to Bulldozer's lower abs & crotch area. Just like Jedi masters, these soldiers were trained to be psychic spies, able to leave their body in spirit form and retrieve enemy secrets or see classified locations just by using their minds.
Didn't seem all that difficult, so decided to give it a try. Basically, just close your eyes, regulate breathing and release the mind into any direction it wanted to go. After awhile, once you get the hang of it, then you can direct your mind to where you want to go.
The hard part is deciphering what your mind is actually seeing, because sometimes the images coming in don't exactly make sense. And that's where the training comes in.
Couldn't come up with any great Custom ideas lately, so decided to let the mind wind its way, and try this psychic ability to see what other Customizers were working on.
