![[Shining Knight (Jlu Style)] Ever since I saw him in the cartoon, I’ve always wanted to make a figure of him. Right after making his pal the Vigilante, I knew Sir Justin had to follow. His tunic, helmet, and wrist guards were sculpted with apoxie while his head was a cast of an early superman figure.
His paint job consists of 3 types of yellow and a dry coat of auric gold paint for a shiny effect (He is the “shining Knight” after al!) one sword later and Sir Justin is ready to join your DCUC ranks!!](userimages/customs/47500/47253-1.jpg) Shining Knight (Jlu Style) | ![[Shining Knight] Hi guys my shining knight ,resculpted the face and head gear, sculpt over the body for the gold armor, the sword was scratch built, the shield was made from a capt america shield modified to make it crest shape thanks everybody...](userimages/customs/45500/45196-1.jpg) Shining Knight DC Universeby rexticonHi guys my shining knight ,resculpted the face and head gear, sculpt over the body for the gold armor, the sword was scratch built, the shield was made ...4 comments |
![[Shining Knight] Sadly this was a commissioned piece based off a version I did a while ago. I'm kind of jealous since I made some improvements upon the actual design. I hate giving him up, lol. Gonna probably go back and re-do mine now.
Sir Justin is made using Dr. Mid-Nite's torso, arms from Lord Naga, and legs from Copperhead. The head is from Captain Marvel.
This version has a more intricate design for the emblem than my original. I also sanded down the jawline so it didn't just look like Captain Marvel with a helmet. Also, after sculpting the chainmail on the neck, I sculpted the top of his tunic so it looks like it's atop his chainmail (something mine lacks).
Overall I'm very happy with how he turned out. The small improvements really make a difference in my opinion.](userimages/customs/45000/44955-1.jpg) Shining Knight DC Universeby packerbacker180Sadly this was a commissioned piece based off a version I did a while ago. ![[Shining Knight] This is another one on my long time to do list. I have seen a few JL Animated Shining Knights back when the show was still on the air, but only a handful of 6 inch scale ones. One here on the realm used a Copperhead as the base and I liked that because it wanted him to have the chain mail/armor feel to him. So I used a him as the base with a Starman variant head. The shirt and helmet are sculpted. The hands and loincloth are from DC Direct Kingdom Come Aquaman. The helmet took about 3 tries to get nice and pointy. The sword is from a Lord of the Rings figure. I could not make him without his trusty steed Winged Victory, so I took an old time toy horse i saw used for a Ghost Rider custom, gave it a new paint and added wings from a ML Angel figure. I like this horse because it is rearing back ready for flight and battle. Enjoy!](userimages/customs/44000/43954-1.jpg) Shining Knight DC Universeby da manThis is another one on my long time to do list. ![[Shining Knight] I made this custom cause i loved the Sir Justine Shining Knight character in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon series, i couldnt get his chest emblem correct, so i left it out. Also i couldnt find a good piece of fodder to use as his helmet.
Most of this custom uses parts from Dr Midnite , lower legs from GL John Stewart. Head and hands are from GA Starman.
Thanks for looking.](userimages/customs/36000/35917-1.jpg) Shining Knight DC Universeby steve2477I made this custom cause i loved the Sir Justine Shining Knight character in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon series, i couldnt get his chest embl...9 comments | ![[Sir Justin the Shining Knight] Started out with Dr. Mid-nite's torso.
