![[Stryfe] Decided I wasn't satisfied with the first Stryfe I did because his helmet had to much sculpt and glue mess fromtrialand error making it. So I built a new one.
Body - MU Ultron
Head - MU Loki
Helmet - Built from 25th Ann. GIJoe Serpentor helmet and fins cut from an old credit card
Cape - Trimmed down from an old DCUC Superman cape
Well, thanks for looking and I hope you like him, I think he is an improvement from the last one I did=)](userimages/customs/47000/46699-1.jpg) Stryfe | ![[Stryfe] Hello,
Okay first of the week for my return will be Stryfe in the Marvel Universe Scale. The figure uses MU Colossus body with lower legs from Ultron, hands from an Iron man figure, head from Cable, and last the cape from Thor. When making this figure I used as reference all the armor designs that Stryfe has appeared with through comics since his first appearance to his latest and the result is what you see in the pictures. Pretty much everything that is not from the original Colossus figure was sculpted; the mask was the hardest part, but I am happy with the results.
Hope you all like it and have a good one,](userimages/customs/43500/43213-1.jpg) Stryfe |
![[Stryfe 2.0] i got some nice (imo) chrome color paint so i decided to totally redo my stryfe. i took apart the old one and sanded him and repainted as well as added the little protrusions on his chest he has in the comics. i disassembled the helmet and made all the metal plate things smaller to fit the scale better and also trimmed his cape.
i'm pretty happy with this one and he looks good on my x-shelf. thanks for looking and i hope you like him! =)](userimages/customs/42000/41992-1.jpg) Stryfe 2.0 | ![[Stryfe] took an MU ultron and added some fodder and a movie thor cape. i used a star wars Kir Kanos head from the Crimson Empire box set(as the face was scarred at the eye and resembled Cable to me) and painted his hair white. then i took the mask from GI Joe matt tracker and modded it to show his lower face and added those metal plate thingies made out of an old supermarket savings card.
the helmet needs to be sanded and repainted cause i ran out of silver paint and what was left was all cloudy and chipping and crusty, as you can see in the pics, but it'll have to do until i get new paint next month. well, untill then I at least have a stryfe to put in my x-force/x-men collection =)
hope you like him, and thanx for looking, i'll update him when i get new silver paint.](userimages/customs/42000/41538-1.jpg) Stryfe |

![[Stryfe] A friend gave me an LOTR SAURON and I was thinking How can I use it since its kinda tall or big for my scale of collections.. So I removed his body Armors and sculpted His chest and abs packs with Water stop and repainted. I removed his head and replaced it with JIMMY SUPERFLY SNOOKAS Head and I sculpted his mask. His Head Dress or plates where made from Microwavable container plastics. His cape where made From Velvet..
Stryfe is the clone of Nathan Christopher Summers, alias Cable, the son of Cyclops of the X-Men. In need of a powerful warrior who would oppose Apocalypse, Mother Askani sent a female member of the cult back to the X-Men's own time period. ![[Stryfe] STRYFE: A BRIEF HISTORY...Stryfe is the clone of Nathan Christopher Summers, the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey); when the immortal mutant Apocalypse infects the infant Nathan with a techno-organic virus, a woman from the distant future introducing herself as Askani appears to Cyclops and Jean Grey, telling them that she can save the child. Once the infant Nathan arrives in the future, Askani clones the baby, hoping to salvage something if he dies. The clone's growth is greatly accelerated until he is the same age as Nathan himself. The Askani succeed in halting the spread of the techno-organic virus in Nathan's body, thereby saving his life. However, Apocalypse and his forces attack the Askani's hiding place and steal the cloned infant. Apocalypse takes the child as his own, raising him himself and naming him Stryfe, intending to use him as his next host body. ![[Cloud Stryfe (Marvel Legends 6" Scale)] I created this figure as a gift for my brother, Chris. However, I was bothered by the limited articulation in the hips, and freakishly long thighs that effect most FF Play Arts figures.
:::: Recipe:
-Final Fantasy 'Play Arts' Crisis Core Cloud Stryfe
(modified thighs, repainted, sealed)
-Final Fantasy: Advent Children (Head/hair)
-HML Ares BAF Sword
(repainted and sealed this + kneepads and shoulder pads with Krazy Glue & Vallejo matte varnish for a harsh metallic effect)
-NECA Pirates of the Caribbean Skeleton belt/shash
(heavily cut down/repositioned/painted)
Most of the work associated with this project was changing the figures height by giving Cloud the leg length of a normal human being. I cut almost a 1/2 inch out of each leg, but maintained both the leg swivel and knee articulation.
Afterward giving Cloud surgery, I sculpted over and filled in each with Aves sculpt, and let it cure for a day. I knew the Aves wouldn't be strong enough to hold on it's own, so I forcib](userimages/customs/17500/17089-1.jpg) Cloud Stryfe (Marvel Legends 6" Scale) Final Fantasyby blaynescottI created this figure as a gift for my brother, Chris. This is my first Stryfe custom. I added 70% of clay to this custom. It took a lot work but it was worth it at the end. I'm happy with the outcome to this project. This is base on Stryfe X force messiah war look. Whoever read the comic know what I'm talking about. The paint job was just as hard as all the clay. Enjoy this custom peoples.
Comment and suggestion are always welcome

![[Stryfe] Swapped the Sinister head with a X-Men Classics Magneto head. Added plenty of putty to make the fine details to the costume and dremelled the diamond off the chest. Also used the groin cloth from the Magneto figure for the same on Stryfe. Used an Elseworlds Superman cape. The blades on the forearms & boots AND the sections of the helmet are cut from a baking tray, and YES, THEY ARE AS SHARP AS THEY LOOK!!! (I have the scars to prove it).
