Order and Chaos. Green for order, now which for Chaos? Red was the obvious choice, though I considered yellow. But I figured the "Two-Face" aspect of his personality could possess rage at his disfigurement, and only Harvey's already fractured psychy could handle the two diametric rings. He's a Prof. X, with a MM Joker Thugs coat (makes his shoulders appear broader), NECA Tomb Raider hands, and a Buffy Spike head, with half the face and hair dremeled off and resculpted.
I had a tough time deciding what colors to do on this guy, for a few reasons. I knew I wasn't going to go with the pink damaged flesh, because though its the most realistic, its inexorably associated with the Tommy Lee Jones version. Next in line was blue, since I love the animated series. However it seemed like everyone does blue, so that was out. That left the classic green. The next decision was his suit colors. I didn't want todo black and white since theres already the dcuc one with that, and the new AA one thats coming out this summer is also that combo. In the older comics it seemed like purple was done a lot, so I went with grey and purple for him. I dremeled away](userimages/customs/28500/28031-1.jpg) Two-Face |
![[Two-Face Version 2] I looked at my custom Two-Face figure which I did a while back. The main change was a repaint, but I remember someone saying that I should have sanded the hair down. Now that I own some grinding stone attachment heads, I did just that. I also painted the hair on the scarred side white (but still brown at the roots) to have more of that dichotomy going. There's also a bit of a black wash on the scarred side to have a little of that "burnt" effect. To increase the effect, the hair on the handsome side is repainted black (from brown). ![[Two-Face] I bought this figure loose a while back. It is a repaint of a figure released earlier in the Secret Files line from DC Direct, I much prefer the repainted version as I always think Two-Face's scarred side should be red, like melting muscle. The paint job was a simple blue on his right side (our left) and grey on his left side. I didn't really like the blue, so I decided to repaint that side black. It also works as a visual metaphor of sorts: the black represents his evil side and the grey represents his "better" (not "good") side - black and grey morality, as opposed to black and white. With some effort, I pried off his bowtie and sculpted a necktie out of DAS air-drying clay, and painted that before sticking it onto the figure. I also sculpted a tiny coin and a handgun out of DAS air-drying clay for him. I still need to work on getting smooth-looking paints, I tried thinning the paint with water but the result is only marginally better than my earlier efforts.](userimages/customs/25000/24936-1.jpg) Two-Face DC Directby JeddTheJediI bought this figure loose a while back. Here's my take on dc universe two-face. I dremmelled and slice his left hand and side of his neck to make it look burned. I gave him dry brushes to his white side to get rid of the original blue. I also painted 3 different skin color to his burned side and then I went over with clear red. I wanted the burned side to look fresh. Finally it was a pain in the rear end to paint his face!

![[Two-Face] This was my 1st custom I made a year back. It was mad before the Dark Knight came out, so this is the concept I originally imagined Two Face would look like.
Simple custom (depends on how old you are). I took a MLS9 professor X figure, dippped the right side ("his" left) in kerosene, took my handy-dandy lighter and lit him up. I covered his good side in tin foil so it would keep from burning.
1 year later, a sculted some hair on him, touched up his suit, and finished him up. hope you enjoy.

Seriously, its like the dude who sculpted it did it just for us. I just slapped some paint on that piece, and was like "aww..Dizzang!" I'm just saying, imo, that head sculpt (at least half of it,) looks more like aaron eckhart, than the official matty one does...Snap.
Anyways, I was really surprised how quickly this project moved. I litterally started this thing yesterday afternoon. Now, I know I still need to chang out his hands, but I can't figure out how to pop them out without rippping the peg. Most of the work (obviously,) went into sculpting the "toasty" side of his face. I stated out by drilling out original eye, shaving half his head, and and taking his face down to the skull. ![[Two-Face] This isn't a new idea on the site, but it's easily my favorite custom I've made because of the long story.
It started when I saw benstoys custom Two-Face made w/ Captain America's head, I had that head, so I made it. After about a year of retooling the head, I got a thug body and went through the long process of giving him new hands (not knowing of the boiling method yet).
All sculpting done with a package knife, for I didn't own a dremel. Then the new method of making Two-Face with the amazing new head came out, so I shelled out the cash for a dremel, made this head, and gave a final repaint of the suit.
Scarecrow's hands and 4" Indiana Jones gun repainted silver w/ black handle. Scarecrow's finger goes right into the hole. Perfect fit. I'd recomend it.
Only problem is now my old Harvey (Unburnt) isn't the same because he has the old head, so he looks nothing like this. If only they released that 5" Harvey they made a prototype for, I'd be golden.](userimages/customs/18000/17712-1.jpg) Two-Face | ![[Two-face] just painted it with original color from the animated series, Black & White](userimages/customs/15500/15219-1.jpg) Two-face |
![[Two-Face (Dark Knight)] I haven't done a custom in a while, so I decided to rectify this.
I made this custom of Two-Face from The Dark Knight, because I got impatient with Mattel's Movie Masters line. So I decided to do it myself.
The body is of course a Joker thug. I painted the shoes gloss black, painted the shirt white, and gave him hands from Scarecrow. The knot in the tie is apoxie sculpt and the tie itself is a cut shape from a random jacket from another figure that I had no use for. Then I painted it.
The head is from the 5-inch Two-Face movie figure. When I was looking at it, I noticed that from the waist up it was actually on a 6-inch scale (well kinda pushing it, but still...) and it was the legs that were too short. So I figured the head would work on the Joker Thug body and sure enough it does.
I dremmeled it down to fit on the Joker thug's neck peg, I sanded the left side of the thug's neck down a bit to make it look torn up, then I started painting. I started off with a flat black base,](userimages/customs/12500/12365-1.jpg) Two-Face (Dark Knight) | ![[Two-Face] I take sanded down one side of Prof. X and painted some part of it purple and on the other side I just made hair out of apoxie.](userimages/customs/12500/12164-1.jpg) Two-Face |
