Eomer (Sword Attack) Review

Eomer (Sword Attack)
Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 2
Eomer, the banished nephew of King Theoden of Rohan.

Heres an example of what could have been a great character but got a bit screwed up in the works. Don't get me wrong, hes a good figure but he could have been much better. First off, he comes with two items, a sword and a helmet. The helmet fits well and the sword fits nicely into both his hand and in the sheath. Now whats wrong with all of this you may ask? Well ill tell you. First off, his mouth. Now I know hes a warrior and all but come on, who looks like that even in battle?!? He looks like hes in a yoddling competition. Second off is his sculpt. Someone had the great idea of making him in some kind of battle position, it didn't work. It looks like hes squatting forward but not as a whole squat, kinda like hes trying to tell someone else off who's far away.

His paint job and sculpt isn't to bad though. Hes wearing his cool looking armor from the movie and its painted well, a reddish brown with silver chainmail. Sword is silver while the sheath is brown. The hair actually stays true to the movie character and is blonde.

Articulation is the usual by now, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees and feet

Not a horrible figure but could have been much better had it been sculpted a bit better, thus I have to give it a 4.50.
