Beast (Stealth) Review

Beast (Stealth)
X-Men - 2006 Series (Toy Biz) - Series 1
I'm actually reviewing the version with the Cat-head. On first look I thought he looked just like a good piece of fodder, until I opened the package: This is a very nice figure.
The areas of articulation are plentiful and well placed. I always like when a figure can bend their feet at their toes and their hands at their fingers. The sculpting on this figure is very well done. The detail on his fur and his costume are great. The paint work is very well done with straight lines on all the lined details and with shading and highlighting done appropriately. The "X" on his grenade belt is even straight. The detail on the face is great too. His eyes just pop out and almost have an intelligent quality under all the cat fur.
He comes with 2 accessories (or 3 if you count the cord around his chest). His grappling gun is a neat idea, but doesn't work very well. The line is too short so it would only help him reach things that he could normal jump to anyway. The pistol is good looking and fits in his hand well. It stores in a holster behind his back and fits there well.

All in all I couldn't find any problems with this figure. Great sculpting, great painting, great pose-ability, good accessories all add up to a great figure.
