Batman (Future Knight) Review

Batman (Future Knight)
Batman Beyond (Hasbro)
In the mid-21st century, Gotham City is without a protector, the legendary Batman having vanished nearly twenty years ago. The violent gang, the Jokerz, rule the streets of Gotham, super criminals run unchecked, and all under the thumb of Max Powers, a sinister buisnessman.

However, a dark light once more shines from the roof tops of the futuristc Gotham City. Terry McGinnis becomes the new Batman, under the guidnece of an aged Bruce Wayne to strike fear into the hearts of the superstious and cowerdly criminals of Gotham.

Batman uses a number of high tech gadgets and weapons on his war on crime. A pair of five inch wings made of solid plastic attach to his back via a peg and hole system. The wings can move up and down very easily and don't drupe down very much which is always great. The backs are painted gun metal and silver.

Batman also comes with twin sword/axe/kama's that are supposed to fit into his hands, but don't really hold too well. It's a tragidy as it woould look cool.

The figure itself is made of translucent blue plastic, giving him a see through apperance. His bat symbol is massive and bloody red, very show accurate. The ears are fairly stiff, but can be flexed to a degree.

Batman features five points of articulation. Not much, but the wonderful sculpt and pure greatness of Terry McGinnis makes up for it.

The only problem I had was that it smells funny. Made me feel kind of sick when I smelled it. Needless to say, I bought a diffrent one later, and pawned this one off for six bucks all because it stank.

4 out of five.
