When I couldn't get a certain figure, I would try to make my own. I'm especially partial to the Horror genre. My preferred base figure to use would be a WWF/WWE Figure from around the 99-02 era. But I can also do real well with simple dollar store figures.
When I make custom figures, I do it without the knowledge of actually customizing. I like to wing it.
I'm pretty good at using Tulip paint as a type of sculpt. I've used it on almost all of my customs, Like for dripping blood, or to make a fleshy, or even a formed mask.
I feel that using whatever tools that are around to make my figures may prove that I would be spectacular if I was to ever get "Professional" equipment. But who knows? Maybe I can be Doing a couple how to's on how I do some of my little thingies... |
