ROBOT CHICKEN, HIRE ME!!! | | Comments: | I started customizing toys when i was about 12. I was always disappointed that there wasn't an action figure made for a character i really wanted, so i started remodeling some of the ones i had. My first attempts were not very good. Infact, i don't think i kept a majority of my early creations. I started taking customizing more seriously after i made Two Face, my first REAL custom.
From there, I evolved. I picked up new paints and new sculpts along the way, progressively got better, and now, I'm doing pretty well! I'm now using my customs in my stop motion directed videos!
So to those just starting out, some humble words of inspiration: Take your time, plan things out, and have fun! You'll be surprised how far you'll go! Cheers! |
