Hey man what's up with this verification wait mentioning bots. This really sucks man I was a paragraph in and had to go back to the home page to wait for the verification to be accepted. Then re write it all from scratch in which I didn't. For the past few days now this is been quite irksome. I could be scrolling then I would have to go through the process of being verified again.
I think I may have found a way to help this for signed in users. Let me know if it's better the next couple days.

If you are on a desktop, you can start type something, click the refresh button, and the comment should come back. You'll see a little Draft restored message appear above the smileys. Let me know if you happen to see that work.
