Hold no regard for less advanced races. Hold loyalty in low regard. Capable of betraying a trust for profit. The Ferengi are a constant threat to peace. Known to attack both civilian and military ships without provocation. Making a profit is just as important, if not more, than winning a battle. Will raid natural resources of a planet without concern for indigenous life forms. They work alone or in small groups, called trading packs. Often found selling weapons to both sides of a conflict. Ferengi travel in powerful starships known as Marauders. This ship is a combination combat vessel and cargo ship. Aggressive, but will withdraw in the face of overwhelming odds.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is unknown how much technology the Ferengi have developed and how much they have acquired through trading. The Federation's technological advantage over the Ferengi, therefore, is fragile.
