The Flash Catches Bank Robbers After High Speed Chase

Running as fast as an Indy racer, yet using only fraction of his ability, The Flash easily overtook a getaway car speeding from a bank robbery. The Flash’s top speed has been clocked at 705 m.p.h. An aura of unknown energy protects him from the air friction of moving at such high speed. No longer keeping his double identity a secret, Wally West said that he gained his powers from a freak accident with a series of chemicals. As The Flash, he uses his incredible speed inn the fight against evil.
