Black Panther
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz) - Marvel Knights
Rated 2.00 stars by Xen
They don't come any more basic than this... Poor articulation (hinges), no accessories (only the cape), poorly detailed (non of the jewelry that the BP has). Could of done better....[See More]
Spider-Man (Launching Web Shield Action)
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz)
Rated 5.00 stars by Darian Waltenburg
So this Spider-man is absed off of his web armor costume. This exact same action figure was released earlier in the animated series line, but was repainted gold for this one, I don't quite see what this accomplishes, but what the heck, variants are always cool. This figure comes with the standard 8 points of articulation, which I shouldn't have to explain at this point because if you're reading this you should know what they are, even though this figure only has seven, yes only seven, I'm getting to that in a second. This figure would be a lot better if it wasn't for the crappy action feature, yes, the dreaded action figure, ruining your toys' articulation since the beginning of time. This Spider-man shoots a dinky little web shield, which makes no sense, I mean, why would you shoot a...[See More]
Spider-Man (2099)
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz) - 10" Scale
Rated 4.00 stars by Darian Waltenburg
Spider-man 2099 is great. He's the best 1099 character and always makes for a good action figure. I got him in a great lot with Wolverine and Deadpool (and She Hulk, but I honestly don't care about her). He's probably my favorite and the best, Marvel Universe figure. His sculpt is jsut a recycled Spider-man body being reused for the 10th time, but his paint is great and suits him well, perfect colors actually, also, he comes with a great cape. It clips to his neck and is tattered up, which gives him this really cool battle damage look, and it's fabric which is a nice change of pace. His hand is molded in a fist and a web slinging hand, it's kind of hard to pose him in an uber cool pose, but it's not impossible, and that's honestly the only down side to this figure. Overall, Spider-man...[See More]

I really liked the 2099 line, at the time it was a good change. Too bad they dropped it totally in the Marvel Universe, would be nice to see a relaunch with the effects of Civil War having changed things.
Deadpool
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz) - 10" Scale
Rated 3.50 stars by Darian Waltenburg
Well, let me start by saying, I know, I know, everyone loves Deadpool, and I was shocked I was able to get this for a decent price. Basically I got him and 3 others from this line because they only spelled Deadpool as "Dead" (typos are the best thing to happen to a website since Buy It Now). So basically, Deadpool has a reused body, which unfortunately has some Rob Liefield qualities to it (basically the torso is more muscular than the legs, which are sort of slender), this body was used on Nick Fury, and a few others. The paint apps however, are great, and definitely turn that tired old body into Deadpool. Like every other figure in this line, he has the basic 9 points of articulation (knees, elbows, shoulders, hips, head) and comes with two sword, unless you do some fidgeting, he can...[See More]
Wolverine (Blue and Yellow)
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz) - 10" Scale
Rated 4.00 stars by Darian Waltenburg
Well, I had a brief stint with 10 inch figures, not like brief where you chew gum for a minute brief, but brief as in you like it at first but the pleasure wears quickly. In that brief stint, my only real purchase of this line was a lot of 4, which included Wolverine. This Wolverine is similar to one I had as a child, at least I think it is, my memories a little foggy. It's the right scale for sure though. Anyway, articulation is anything but plentiful, and is limited to the standard 9, knees, elbows, arms, legs, and head. Paint apps are perfect, but they have to be, because this line was all about repainted bodies and reused parts (Hm, sounds like today's Marvel universe figures) This is a design for Wolverine that I've never seen in the comics or on the figures, but I like it. It's...[See More]
