The best advice that I give myself is have fun. I dive into a project when I'm really feeling it and have the time. That way I don't rush or cut corners. I find that taking my time really helps. The tutorials on FR are also incredibly helpful. Read one, try it out on a fig, then read it again. At first I was afraid to just mess around with base figs as if I was wasting them but it totally makes it all worth it when you use that practice on something you're going to display up on the shelf or sell to someone else. Hope that helps. Welcome and enjoy customizing!

Hi! I'm newer too! Check out some of mine! Well for advice, all I can say is keep going at it, and don't stop. You'll get better and better each time, like I did. I started by using Dollar Tree Figures for practice, now I just started to use higher quality figures. One good thing that keeps it REALLY fun, is to create your OWN characters up. Keep working and don't stop! Hope that helped!

Hi funboy118
I am also new to the customising scene and have recently completed a few easy head swaps for my Green Lantern collection, I have Resprayed and customized some 5 Inch Daleks but as for taking apart and rebuilding, the nearest I've come to that is making a Vulcan Green Lantern.
I shall also post pics when allowed.
