I've never seen the Ronan wave Doom in person, but the paint and reworked sculpt is way better on the Epic Heroes version too in my opinion. I should have broken them into separate choices.

Have you seen the Epic Heroes Dr. Doom? It's the same as the Ronan Doom, but the paint apps are very nice. I think it's better than the TB version, but I like them both. I've always felt the TB one looks like Doom has a mini-skirt on and the cape shape, hood and chain look weird. Can't go wrong with either one though.

The original Toybiz version slightly edges the Ronan wave version due to paint apps.

"Gah, forget the whole thing!"

I can't decide! For now, I've parted with a few non-mainstays to keep enough room in the bin for all three of my Dooms, ToyBiz ML, ROML and MS. Each one really does have its points. Thanks for the responses!

Depends on what Scale you plan to display them with, unless you don't care.

I voted MS Doom, but I also enjoy the Epic Heroes Doom. I own both. The paint on the Epic Heroes version is better than the paint on the Ronan Series. MS has more/way cooler accessories and I feel he can be posed/stands better. He also has a more detailed sculpt and looks better without his cape on. He is a bit on the tall side though. Not as much of a problem if sitting or flying.

Oddly, Dr. Doom was the first Marvel Select I purchased. He had just been released at the time and this was when I got back into collecting figures. I did not know the difference between Select and Legends then. I purchased him thinking he was a Marvel Legends figure. That d@mn throne suckered me in.
