Looking for a cool stand for my figures.

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

So I've seen some really neat stands of partial building walls or crash vehicles, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where to buy one of these? Any search I try just pulls up plain old stands.

If you're willing to do a little DIY, my advice would be to look into terrain building for wargames, a lot of incredible how-to's out there, though you may need to upscale some of it as theyll mostly be guides for 30mmish models.

Well, if you've got the patience to make all the individual bricks, it wouldn't be too hard to create your own brick wall. You could either cast a bunch of bricks (time-consuming), or, cut a bunch of them out of foam or wood or something and build up the wall from scratch. Glueing particles of sand onto the surface of the bricks makes for a very convincing texture.

Those are pretty damn cool, and exactly what I want! Agh, if only the McFarlane Military toys weren't so brutally expensive.

Some of the McFarlane Toys military sets have battle damaged walls.
