Action Figure ChatterI'm a new poster here, but I needed to reach the people that care about this site. I spoke with site owner Mike this afternoon, and the site is down due to technical issues right now. However, Mike's not is a rush to get the site back up, as he doesn't realize just how valuable his site is to the toy collecting community.
I personally use his site like a toy bible, and it has often helped me ID toys that no one has ever heard of. I refer to the site when I help other people ID stuff, and I find it to be an extremely valuable resource.
If you have ever used , please post your testimonials here. What toy did it help you identify? Let's show Mike how much we appreciate the great resource he's provided us over the years!

Mike is working on getting the site back online, and he has put up a wiki so that the toy collecting community can help edit pages and post their own pictures.
I want to thank everyone here for their support of Mike and virtualtoychest.com during this past week. All the great comments and kind words played a huge role in encouraging Mike to get the site back up. Thanks again!
Sincerely,
The Grand Toy Wizard

I will be compiling all the responses from here and sending them to Mike. Hopefully we'll be able to encourage him to not only bring the site back, but to keep it going for many years to come.
If Mike isn't up to running it any more, or doesn't want to mess with the technical stuff, I'd be happy to merge all information into the Galleries here. You might mention it to him and see what he thinks. I'd be happy to work something out with him. I don't have his contact info.
