Custom WorkstationDecided to delve into this world by first working on a building. If it comes out screwed up some and what not, it won't look too bad on a rundown building. I'm much farther along but I need to take new pics. Those are coming either tonight or tomorrow morning.
I started out with three 2x2 pink foam boards I got from Home Depot. I used Master's Touch acrylics and a camel hair brush. These paints actually hold up really well on the foam (and even some of those Marvel crates w/the mystery baf characters). I tested out all kinds of glue on the foam. Most did some pretty major damage but overall there are two I'm happy with. The first is actually a glue specifically for foam (name slips my mind atm). Takes like a day to fully dry and hold at it's best but it's good. The other is flat out hot glue from a glue gun. It will do big damage when applied directly to the foam but no other glue holds anywhere near as great (especially when gluing plastic to the foam). Pretty much only get one shot with that glue and gotta move fast while being cautious but still..

Please wait...

Here's those Marvel mystery crates I repainted as well. The Master's Touch acrylics actually hold very well on it. Don't think they needed the Mod Podge sealant I put on them but either way it seemed to have helped some.
