Super poseable action figure?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm new to this site. I'm Brandon. I'm trying to find a good super-poseable action figure for me to customize.

I have the 18" inch Spiderman action figure, but it's too big for me to customize, and I prefer the smaller figure over this huge 18" Spidey, because the 18" figure's articulation parts (arms and legs) are very difficult to move around. Because of its articulations being so stiff, I accidently broke off 18" Spidey's left leg. After that happened, I decided for a much smaller figure (6"to 7" with all the articulations possible (besides the articulated hands, because I understand that would be impossible for a 6" figure).

This is an 18" inch Spiderman figure:

Now, on to the question... Do you know any 6" to 7" inch action figure that has all the articulation characteristics (except for the hands like the 18" inch Spiderman action figure?

Yeah. That kind of figure is quite awesome! I had the Sentry figure, and he had articulated fingers as well. I plan to use his fingers for my custom someday.

Thanks for the info on these figures, Darththomas! I went to look at that super poseable movie Spiderman figure on ebay, but it is still as expensive as the other good ones. That Dhalsim figure looks quite amazing for its prize on amazon!

Thanks again for the info.

Think there's a movie Spiderman that has all three, also Sota Dhalsim , you can pick up knock offs fairly cheap.

Thank you so much for the links. Unfortunately, I still couldn't find one. I know there are tons of super-poseable figures, but most of them don't have much articulation in their chests and pelvic areas. 18" inch Spidey figure has articulation in his pecs to squeeze all the way to the front, and squeeze all the way to the back. It also has hinch joint in its abdominal area, and has ball-to-socket joint in its ribcage area. Most action figures don't have all three of those articulations at once.

I found only two that has them, but both don't have pectoral articulations... Mafex Amazing Spiderman, and Arkham City Collectibles Series 4 Batman. My problem with them is that they're both way too expensive.

Well, I guess I'll have to stick with old, used figures, then cut up parts to make my own super-poseable figure. I've been trying to customize my figure with all three articulations in its chest, but it's still giving me a really hard time.

Thanks again for the links! They do help a lot!

Most Marvel legends have similar artic to the one you're talking about and yes, you CAN get them in 6" scale with individually articulated fingers, check out these links and have look around for one that might suit your needs
